Slated to be recalled Thursday Kolosov is expected to be recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley ahead of Thursday's game in Pittsburgh, per Kevin Kurz of The Athletic.

Impact The Flyers are in need of a goaltender after Dan Vladar was injured in the opening period Wednesday versus Buffalo. Kolosov is 0-1-0 in a pair of appearances for the Flyers this season, allowing two goals on 28 shots. Kolosov was 9-9-1 with a 2.54 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 19 AHL contests this season.

Posts shutout Wednesday Kolosov posted a 31-save shutout in AHL Lehigh Valley's 3-0 win over Hershey on Wednesday.

Impact Kolosov finds himself as the odd man out now that Samuel Ersson has returned from a lower-body injury. In his two appearances for the Flyers this year, the 23-year-old Kolosov went 0-1-0 despite a solid 1.62 GAA and .929 save percentage. If he can keep playing at that level in the minors, Kolosov could force the Flyers to bring him back up at some point. For now, it will be Dan Vladar and Ersson splitting the workload in Philadelphia.

Samuel Ersson took a step back and Ivan Fedotov wasn't much better than Kolosov, so the Flyers will certainly be taking a long look at goaltending in the offseason. All three netminders are under contract for 2025-26, but Kolosov is the only one who will be waivers exempt, though he has previously shown reluctance to play in the AHL.
