Trent Williams - Targets return after bye Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced Monday that he hopes Williams (ankle) can return to practice following the team's upcoming bye, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Impact Williams first injured his ankle during the team's Week 6 loss to the Browns but could now be back for the team's next matchup after their bye versus the Jaguars. The 49ers have lost the past two games with the 35-year-old out and would naturally welcome his return against the tough defense of the Jaguars in Week 10.

Dre Greenlaw - Dealing with shoulder sprain Greenlaw is considered day-to-day after sustaining a shoulder sprain in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Bengals, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Impact He still managed to play 95 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday and registered eight tackles (six solo) for the game. The 49ers are on bye next week, which should give Greenlaw plenty of time to rest up and be fully healthy for their Week 10 contest against the Jaguars.
OCTOBER 30, 2023 ROTOWIRE
Jauan Jennings - Not targeted in spot-start Jennings was in the starting lineup in place of Deebo Samuel (shoulder) on Sunday, but he was not targeted in a 31-17 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Jennings finished with no targets, despite being on the field for 50 of San Francisco's offensive snaps (85 percent) for the team's third loss in as many weeks. He wound up playing a larger share of snaps compared to last week's spot start, when he produced his best line of the season (5-54-0). With the 49ers entering a bye in Week 9, there is a good possibility Samuel could return to the starting lineup against the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 12. If that happens, Jennings would slide back to his usual slot role when San Francisco returns to action.

Jake Moody - Clean outing Sunday Moody converted his only field-goal attempt from 36 yards out and went 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 31-17 loss to Cincinnati.
Impact Moody spent most of this contest on the sidelines after San Francisco's offense was held to 17 points for the third consecutive week. On the bright side, the rookie kicker converted all three of his attempts Sunday after missing kicks in each of his previous two outings. Moody enters the 49ers' upcoming bye week with an 80 percent success rate on field goals while converting all 26 of his point-after tries through the first eight games of his pro career. San Francisco will resume play in Week 10 against Jacksonville.
OCTOBER 30, 2023 ROTOWIRE
Evan McPherson - Struggling some from long range McPherson converted one of his two field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-17 win at San Francisco.
Impact McPherson missed his first field-goal try of the day from 50 yards out in the middle of the second quarter, failing to help Cincinnati expand on a 14-7 lead. Later though, he partially made up for the missed chance by connecting on a 56-yarder early in the third quarter to extend the Bengals' lead to 17-10. In all, he has made just four of his seven field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards out in 2023, a far cry from the 87.5 percent conversion rate he managed from that range his first two years in the league. He's still been generally effective overall though, and he projects as a fine fantasy option in Week 9 when Cincinnati hosts Buffalo.
