Joey Slye - Makes lone extra-point attempt Slye converted on his lone extra-point try during the Patriots' 40-7 loss to the Chargers on Saturday.
Impact It was another quiet day for Slye as the Patriots' offense struggled to move the ball down the field and were limited to 181 yards against a stout Chargers defense. Slye hasn't attempted a field goal over his last two games, and through 16 regular-season games he's gone 23-for-30 on field-goal attempts and 23-for-24 on extra-point tries.

Joshua Palmer - Needs walking boot Palmer (heel) was donning a walking boot in the locker room following Saturday's 40-7 win at New England, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Impact The Chargers may just be exercising caution with Palmer after he was forced out of Week 17 action late in the third quarter. He finished Saturday's game with four catches (on six targets) for 41 yards, which marked the third time in the last four contests that he surpassed 40 yards.

Cameron Dicker - Racks up 20 points vs. New England Dicker was perfect on his four of his field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries during the Chargers' 40-7 win over the Patriots on Saturday.
Impact The Chargers' offense couldn't be stopped Saturday, with eight of its 10 drives ending in a score. Dicker was the direct beneficiary of the Bolts' offensive success, and he didn't have trouble with his field-goal attempts as all four of them were from 41 yards or shorter. Dicker has been perfect over his last eight games, going 18-for-18 on field-goal attempts and 19-for-19 on extra-point tries over that span.

Kayshon Boutte - Loses recent momentum Boutte caught four passes for 28 yards on five targets against the Chargers on Saturday.
Impact In Week 16 Boutte broke the game open for the Patriots by scoring a long touchdown against the Bills, but he couldn't recreate the big play against the Chargers on Saturday. It was arguably encouraging to see Boutte draw five targets on mostly shorter routes -- part of the struggle with Boutte this year has been the boom-or-bust category he landed in as a deep-route specialist -- so if Boutte can combine the short routes of Saturday with the longer catches he provided at earlier points this year, then there could be untapped potential yet in the second-year wideout. The Patriots have their rematch against the Bills in Week 18.
