Elijah Mitchell (knee/concussion) remained sidelined for the third straight game, so Jeff Wilson and wideout Deebo Samuel combined to handle the rushing duties. Hasty may find himself phased out of the offense if Mitchell is able to return for the 49ers' next contest -- which won't take place until a week from Sunday -- as Wilson is a superior rusher and can also handle receiving duties out of the backfield.

The 23-year-old would have finished with three receptions for the third straight game if he didn't drop a pass that hit him right in the hands during a crucial stalled drive in the fourth quarter. Jennings has settled into a low-usage role as the 49ers' No. 3 wideout heading into a Week 17 matchup against the Texans.
