Terrel Bernard - Tallies three tackles on SNF Bernard registered three tackles (two solo), a defensed pass and a fumble recovery Monday in a 41-40 win over Baltimore.
Impact Bernard's fumble recovery was huge, as it came late in the fourth quarter with the Bills trailing by eight and set up a Josh Allen touchdown run. It was an otherwise pretty quiet game by the veteran linebacker, whose three stops were fewer than he recorded in all but one contest last season. Bernard dealt with a hamstring injury in training camp but was able to play all 51 of Buffalo's defensive snaps Sunday.

Kyle Hamilton - Nine takedowns in loss Hamilton compiled nine total tackles (six solo), two passes defensed and a forced fumble in Sunday's 41-40 loss to the Bills.
Impact Hamilton was rather involved in Week 1, as usual, finishing second on the team in tackles behind linebacker Roquan Smith (10). The safety also stripped the ball from tight end Dalton Kincaid in the second quarter, but the ball went out of bounds. Hamilton has increased his production in each of his three campaigns in Baltimore, and he's now opened the 2025 season on the right foot.

Roquan Smith - Double-digit stops in loss Smith recorded 10 total tackles (eight solo) in Sunday's 41-40 loss to the Bills.
Impact Smith led the team in stops in the defeat, reaching double-digit tackles in the regular-season opener after registering at least 10 tackles in nine regular-season games last year. The linebacker has compiled 158 and 154 tackles respectively in his first two campaigns in Baltimore, and he is now out to a strong start in 2025.

Matt Prater - Returns to practice squad Prater reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log reports.
Impact Prater nailed a game-winning 32-yard field goal in Sunday's 41-40 win over the Ravens, operating as Buffalo's starting kicker in Week 1 with Tyler Bass (hip/groin) unavailable. Prater also made two other field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in the victory. The 41-year-old will almost certainly be elevated to the active roster again in Week 2 versus the Jets.

Matt Prater - Forty-one-year-old surgeon Prater made all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Buffalo's stunning 41-40 come-from-behind win on Sunday Night Football.
Impact Prater was kicking for the Bills only because regular kicker Tyler Bass was recently moved to IR with a hip/groin injury. Prater deftly handled all of his assignments after getting elevated from the practice squad, none bigger than when he calmly nailed the 32-yard game-winning field goal as time expired. There's almost no way the Bills won't let him finish out Bass's IR stint, which at minimum will be another three weeks. It's worth noting that those opponents offer decent matchups for fantasy kickers, as the Bills play the Jets, Dolphins and Saints in Weeks 2-4.
