Done for the season
Curry is ruled out for the 2021 season after having undergone surgery to address a blood disorder, the New York Daily News reports.
Impact
Curry developed blood clots after initially undergoing surgery to remove his spleen back in July, and he ultimately required blood thinners as part of his treatment. The ninth-year veteran said he expects to fully recover and retake the field in 2022, which is certainly positive news, but for the 2021 campaign, his absence will be a notable blow for New York's defensive front.

Placed on reserve/NFI
The Jets moved Curry to the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Impact
Coach Robert Saleh said back in July that Curry could be available by Week 2, but his shift to the reserve/NFI list means he will be forced to sit out the first six weeks of the 2021 season. The veteran defensive end appeared in 11 games with the Eagles last season, during which time he racked up 16 tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery.

Not expected back until Week 2
Head coach Robert Saleh said Wednesday that Curry (undisclosed) has a conservative return date of Week 2, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact
Curry currently resides on the non-football injury list. He'll likely miss the entirety of the preseason and will need to beat initial recovery projections to make it back in time for the start of the regular season. The source of Curry's injury is an undisclosed offseason procedure.

Latches on with Jets
Curry agreed to a one-year contract with the Jets on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Impact
Curry will provide the Jets with some assistance at defensive end across from Carl Lawson. The 32-year-old veteran has notched five or more sacks only twice across nine career seasons, eight of which he played in Philadelphia. Though he'll likely play a valuable rotational role in New York, he's not a strong candidate to provide value in IDP leagues.

Modest numbers in 2020
Curry notched 16 tackles (12 solo), three sacks and one fumble recovery through 11 games in 2020.
Impact
Curry started the Eagles' final two games of the regular season, but his snap share was under 50 percent in his other nine contests. The 32-year-old played out the 2020 campaign on a one-year deal with Philadelphia, and he'll likely now need to search for a depth role on the free agent market.

Returns to team activites
The Eagles activated Curry from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.
Impact
Curry was a high-risk close contact to someone who had tested positive. He's cleared the proper protocols and will be available for Monday's game versus the Seahawks. The veteran defensive end hasn't played more than 46 percent of the defensive snaps in a game this year. He's recorded seven tackles and two sacks through five contests.
