Impact With Ezekiel Elliott's knee clearly bothering him, Pollard wound up leading the Cowboys in carries and rushing yards in a nearly even workload split with Zeke. Pollard also just missed scoring a TD in the second quarter on a swing pass from Dak Prescott, but he was ruled down just short of the goal line and had to watch from the sidelines as Elliott punched the ball into the end zone on the next play. Not to be deterred, Pollard returned a kickoff to the house in the third quarter to spur a Dallas comeback from a 24-13 deficit. Elliott will have some extra time to heal up before a Week 13 clash with the Saints, but Pollard's explosiveness should keep him in a prominent role in the offense even if the Cowboys' No. 1 RB is able to handle his usual volume.

Just shy of 100 scrimmage yards Pollard rushed 11 times for 42 yards and caught six of seven targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 43-3 win over the Falcons.

Impact Pollard actually mustered one more rushing yard than Ezekiel Elliott on three fewer carries, but Elliott scored a pair of short touchdowns, while Pollard still hasn't found the end zone since Week 2. This was the best pass-catching performance of the season for Pollard, both in terms of receptions and yardage, but his ceiling remains capped by his change-of-pace role and lack of red-zone usage heading into a Week 11 road matchup with the Chiefs.

Impact Ezekiel Elliott was in and out of the lineup throughout the game due to a knee contusion, but with the Cowboys offense as a whole generally unable to get anything going, Pollard didn't get much of a chance to take advantage. He's now been held below 10 touches and 50 yards from scrimmage in both of the last two games, but if Elliott's injury proves to be serious, Pollard could see a big jump in his workload Week 10 against the Falcons.

Impact The Cowboys' rushing game couldn't get a whole lot going with Cooper Rush under center instead of Dak Prescott (calf), but Minnesota stacking the box allowed the backup QB to throw for 325 yards. Pollard's eight touches was his smallest workload since Week 1, but with Prescott expected back Week 9 against the Broncos, the running back is likely to see double-digit touches once again.
