INJURIES

Tom Brady - High volume in season-ending loss Brady completed 35 of 66 passes for 351 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Buccaneers' 31-14 wild-card loss to the Cowboys on Monday night. He also committed a f...
Impact The legendary signal-caller's potential final game with Tampa Bay went poorly for the Buccaneers, with Brady forced to air it out constantly due to game script, a pattern established during a regular season in which he also recorded a career-high 733 pass attempts. The massive volume helped prop up his final numbers, and both of Brady's touchdown passes -- a 30-yarder to Julio Jones at the end of the third quarter and an eight-yard strike to Cameron Brate with 2:04 remaining in the fourth -- came after the game was out of reach. The Cowboys did a particularly effective job of taking away any deep opportunities, limiting Brady to 5.3 yards per attempt. Assuming he doesn't opt for retirement (again), Brady will head into free agency having thrown for 4,694 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions across 17 regular-season games in 2022.

Russell Gage - Carted off late in wild-card loss Gage was loaded onto a backboard and carted off the field after sustaining an undisclosed injury in the fourth quarter of Monday's 31-14 playoff defeat versus the Cowboys, Greg Aum...
Impact Gage sustained a blow from behind to the head and neck area while attempting to catch an incomplete pass late in the fourth quarter. The exact nature of this injury still is unclear, though the 26-year-old was unable to get up and had to be tended to on the field for an extended period before being carted off, according to Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site.

Robert Hainsey - Active versus Dallas Hainsey (hamstring) is active for Monday's wild-card matchup against Dallas, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact Hainsey tweaked his knee during Tampa Bay's regular-season finale and logged limited practices Thursday through Saturday before being deemed questionable. The center will ultimately be active, but he'll presumably operate as a backup to Ryan Jensen, who was activated off injured reserve Monday and is expected to start against Dallas.

Nick Leverett - Sitting out wild-card round Leverett (knee) has been deemed inactive ahead of Monday's playoff game versus the Cowboys.
Impact Leverett was limited by a knee injury during practice Thursday sitting out Friday and Saturday's sessions due to this issue. As a result, the 26-year-old will be forced to miss this home playoff matchup against the Cowboys' dangerous pass rush. In his stead, rookie Luke Goedeke is the top candidate to start at left guard Monday night, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

Keanu Neal - Won't play against Tampa Bay Neal (hip) has been ruled inactive prior to Monday's wild-card game against the Buccaneers.
Impact Neal sustained a hip injury during the regular-season finale against Atlanta. While he was able to practice in full during each session heading into the playoffs, the 27-year-old won't be able to suit up for this home postseason contest. As a result, Logan Ryan will serve as the Buccaneers' only available safety behind starters Antoine Winfield and Mike Edwards.

Vita Vea - Will play Monday Vea (calf) is active for Monday's wild-card matchup against Dallas, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact As expected, Vea will be active for the playoff matchup after missing three of Tampa Bay's final four regular-season games due to a calf issue. Despite not logging a full practice throughout prep, the 2018 first-round pick's presence should provide a major boost the interior of the Buccaneers' defense.
JANUARY 16 • ROTOWIRE
Carlton Davis III - Active for Monday's playoff tilt Davis (shoulder) has been deemed active for Monday's wild-card contest versus Dallas.
Impact Davis missed the final two weeks of the regular season while tending to a shoulder injury. However, he was a full participant throughout the week of practice heading into Monday's playoff game, so should continue to play every defensive snap while likely drawing the assignment against top Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb.
JANUARY 16 • ROTOWIRE
Logan Ryan - Active for wild-card matchup Ryan (knee) is active for Monday's wild-card matchup against Dallas, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact Ryan missed the regular-season finale due to a knee injury and was listed as questionable for the wild-card matchup, but despite the injury designation, he appeared to be trending in the right direction after logging a full practice Friday. The veteran safety has been officially cleared for game action and should rotate in as a rover in Tampa Bay's defensive backfield, which is without Keanu Neal (hip) for the Monday night matchup.
JANUARY 16 • ROTOWIRE
Kyle Rudolph - Sitting out Monday Rudolph (knee) is listed as inactive Monday against the Cowboys, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Impact After hauling in an eight-yard touchdown Week 18 in Atlanta, Rudolph was knocked out of that contest with a knee injury that allowed for just one limited practice during prep for the wild-card round. Now that Rudolph's status is confirmed for Monday's game, Cameron Brate and Ko Kieft will be the depth tight ends behind No. 1 option Cade Otten.
JANUARY 16 • ROTOWIRE
Vita Vea - Appears ready to roll Vea (calf) is expected to play in Monday's wild-card matchup against the Cowboys, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact Although Vea has now missed three out of Tampa Bay's last four contests due to a calf issue, he's anticipated to suit up and start at nose tackle versus Dallas on Monday. The 347-pounder strung together three consecutive limited practices worth of preparation, and he's is now in line to make running through the interior a difficult task for the Cowboys' ball carriers.

Bucs activate C Ryan Jensen from IR for NFC wild-card game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have activated center Ryan Jensen from injured reserve to the active roster ahead of their NFC wild-card playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys
JANUARY 16 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Ryan Jensen - Activated from IR Jensen (knee) was activated off of injured reserve ahead of Monday's wild-card matchup with the Cowboys, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact Jensen will make his season debut in Monday's playoff contest versus Dallas, returning to the field after injuring his left knee at practice in late July. With Tristan Wirfs (ankle) back at right tackle as well, the Buccaneers' offensive line will have two of their stars in place for the postseason.
