Provides only offense for SF
Pineiro converted his only field-goal attempt of 48 yards in Saturday's 13-3 loss to Seattle.
Impact
Pineiro was the only player for the 49ers to make an impact on the box score after scoring his team's only points in a forgettable offensive showing Saturday. The 29-year-old took over for released K Jake Moody in Week 2 of the regular season and never looked back, nailing all but one of his 29 FGA with the only miss coming from 50-plus yards out. Pineiro will become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason, but it would be surprising if the 49ers didn't re-sign him after saving the franchise's catastrophic kicking situation.

Stuck on ST with Kittle back
Tonges logged 11 snaps on special teams and was not used on offense in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact
George Kittle returned from a one-game absence Saturday, effectively pushing Tonges back down to third on San Francisco's depth chart for Week 18. Blocking TE Luke Farrell logged eight snaps behind Kittle and was not targeted in the regular-season finale. Tonges emerged in 2025 with a 34-293-5 receiving line that was generated primarily while filling in for Kittle at various points of the campaign. Assuming Kittle did not suffer a setback, Tonges will remain a non-factor for the start of the San Francisco's playoff run.

Non-factor in Saturday's loss
Bourne failed to catch his only target in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact
WR Ricky Pearsall (knee/ankle) was back on the sidelines for Week 18, but it was Demarcus Robinson (3-24-0) who filled in for the oft-injured starter this time around. Bourne had been elevated ahead of Robinson in similar scenarios earlier this season, but head coach Kyle Shanahan shuffled his veteran backups in the receiver pecking order Saturday. This development coupled with the potential for Pearsall to return for the wild-card round severely limits Bourne's upside for the start of the playoffs.

Just two carries in loss to SEA
Robinson rushed two times for nine yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Saturday's 13-3 loss to Seattle.
Impact
Robinson was only on the field for six offensive snaps (his lowest total since Week 8) with his club playing catch-up all evening. The veteran backup appears to get extra touches in contests that San Francisco plays with a lead in, otherwise it has been the Christian McCaffrey Show in 2025. Robinson appeared in all 17 regular-season contests in his first year with the 49ers, compiling 400 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a change-of-pace role. The 26-year-old will continue spelling CMC in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

Draws start in Week 18
Robinson had three receptions on four targets for 24 yards in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact
Robinson earned a rare start filling in for Ricky Pearsall (knee/ankle) and received the most playing time (88 percent) in a game this season. The 30-year-old Robinson couldn't parlay the larger role into notable fantasy production after finishing the loss with a pedestrian stat line. Pearsall's status for the wild-card round of the playoffs is still in question, but Robinson's minimal involvement on offense limits his fantasy upside even in games he is asked to start.

Playoff status in jeopardy
Winters could miss the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs due to an ankle injury he sustained during the 49ers' 13-3 loss to the Seahawks on Saturday, Noah Furtado and Eric Branch...
Impact
Winters went to the locker room in the second quarter of Saturday's loss after sustaining an ankle injury and wasn't cleared to return, finishing with two tackles (one solo). Tatum Bethune (groin) also left the game in the fourth quarter, and the starting duo were replaced by Eric Kendricks and Garrett Wallow. The conclusion of Sunday's slate of games will ultimately determine who the 49ers face in the wild-card round and when, but it appears Winters is in danger of missing at least the first round of the NFC playoffs. Along with Kendricks and Wallow, Curtis Robinson -- who was a healthy scratch for Week 18 -- would all be candidates to start at linebacker if one or both of Winters and Bethune were to miss the first round of the postseason.

Wild-card status cloudy
Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters after the 49ers' 13-3 loss to the Seahawks on Saturday that Bethune's groin injury could prevent him from playing in the wild-card round of...
Impact
Bethune left in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game after sustaining a groin injury, finishing the contest with seven tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense. Dee Winters (ankle) also left the contest in the second quarter, and the potential loss of two starting linebackers is a huge blow to a San Francisco defense that is already without Fred Warner (ankle - IR) along with pass rushers Mykel Williams (knee - IR) and Nick Bosa (knee - IR). Eric Kendricks, Garret Wallow and Curtis Robinson (who was inactive for Week 18) would all be in line for more defensive snaps at linebacker if one or both of Bethune and Winters were to be sidelined for the wild-card round.
