Impact The veteran tight end was on the other end of Aaron Rodgers' only TD pass of the day, a 21-yard toss in the second quarter that gave the team a 24-3 lead. Tonyan snapped an 11-game scoring drought in the process, as his only other trip to the end zone this season came in Week 4, while his 52 receiving yards represented his best performance since Week 6. He's now three catches short of breaking his career high of 52, a personal record he'll try to set in a must-win Week 18 clash with the Lions.

Impact Tonyan played the most snaps among Packers tight ends like he usually does, but he finished with just a lone reception for a third straight week and was surprisingly outperformed by fellow tight end Marcedes Lewis. One game was not enough to drop Tonyan behind Lewis when it comes to fantasy options, but it will make it even tougher for those still going in their fantasy leagues to trust Tonyan in Week 17.

Impact Tonyan led Packers tight ends in snaps for a ninth game in a row, but he also was on the field for fewer than 60 percent of the plays run by the Packers offense for the fourth time in as many contests, and he finished with a season low in the receiving yards column. In Week 16, Tonyan and the Packers will take on a Dolphins team that allowed opposing tight ends to score six touchdowns over its last six games, but it's tough to envision him capitalizing, as he has scored just once all season and averaged 1.6 receptions and 12.2 yards over his last five appearances.

Impact Tonyan played at least 51 percent of the snaps for a fourth straight week, but as was the case in the previous three games he made only a minor mark in the box score. His recent output certainly does not inspire any confidence, but he will at least have an appealing matchup for the first time in a while when Green Bay returns from its Week 14 bye, as he and the Packers will face a Rams defense that has had trouble with opposing tight ends in recent weeks.

Impact It was a pretty standard evening for Tonyan, who has not finished with more than three receptions nor more than 29 yards since Week 8. He has faced some tough matchups lately, and he will see another one in Week 13 as the Packers take on a Bears defense that has allowed tight ends to rack up more than 67 yards just once all season.

Impact Tonyan sat out Thursday's practice on account of the illness, but he returned to the field Friday as a full participant to erase any concern about his health. He'll handle his usual duties Sunday as the Packers' starting tight end, but the role hasn't been as fruitful as some might have anticipated heading into the season. Though he's suited up in each of Green Bay's first 11 games, Tonyan has found the end zone only once and is averaging 3.7 catches and 31.1 receiving yards per contest.

Impact Tonyan practiced fully Wednesday, so the tight end's addition to the Packers' injury report Thursday makes his status worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles. If Tonyan is unable to play this weekend, added passing targets would be available for some combination of Josiah Deguara, Marcedes Lewis and Tyler Davis.

The veteran tight end did have a touchdown called back when he knocked his defender down in order to get wide open in the end zone. Tonyan is averaging six receptions and 52.3 yards over his last three games. The recent uptick in production coupled with a soft matchup against the Lions next Sunday should give Tonyan some starting appeal Week 9.
