Nate Wiggins - Avoids serious injury The Ravens are hopeful that Wiggins (shoulder) will be ready for Week 1, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Impact Wiggins injured his shoulder in Friday's 16-13 preseason loss to the Eagles. A top defender for a Clemeson's top tier defense in 2023, the cornerback was selected 30th overall by the Ravens. Although he could be viewed as a slight project, the rookie figures to make an impact in the secondary at some point this season when healthy.

Tyler Steen - Back from ankle injury Steen (ankle) was on the field for 36 offensive snaps (43 percent) in Friday's 16-13 preseason victory over the Ravens, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Impact Steen suffered a mild ankle injury earlier in training camp, but it appears he has put the issue behind him. When healthy, he is expected to start at right guard in the Eagles' offensive trenches this year.

He saw 22 defensive snaps (45 percent) and seven on special teams (28 percent). The cornerback is competing for a depth role in Philadelphia's secondary.

Impact Although Ojabo has been fully participating in practices, but he has not yet been cleared for games. He is looking to return from ACL surgery performed roughly 8-9 months ago. It looks like the Ravens are just exercising caution with the third-year linebacker.

Rasheen Ali - Makes little impact Friday Ali carried the ball 10 times for 26 yards and caught one of three targets for four yards in Friday's 16-13 preseason loss to the Eagles. He also returned one kickoff for 31 yards.

Impact The Ravens rested their key offensive personnel, including Derrick Henry and Justice Hill, but it was undrafted second-year player Owen Wright who got the start in the backfield and played the entire first half. Ali, a fifth-round pick in the 2024 Draft, took over in the third quarter but managed only 30 scrimmage yards on 11 touches to Wright's 50 yards on eight touches. With Keaton Mitchell (knee) also expected to be ahead of Ali in the pecking order once he's healthy, the rookie would appear to have a lot of work to do to put himself in position to have fantasy value in 2024.
