Impact Adams, who is listed as dealing with both an illness and a wrist issue, didn't practice Wednesday, so his continued absence Thursday puts the focus on what the wideout is able to do Friday in terms of getting a handle on his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Colts. Adams will likely need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Week 11 action without an injury designation.

Impact Mosley has been sidelined for each of the Jets' last three games due to a neck injury sustained Week 7 loss to the Patriots, and Wednesday's DNP suggests he could be in jeopardy of missing even more time. If the veteran linebacker cannot upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday, expect Sam Eguavoen to continue seeing increased work with New York's first-team defense.

Davante Adams - Misses practice due to illness, wrist Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said Adams won't practice Wednesday due to an illness and a sore wrist, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Impact Ulbrich didn't suggest that either issue was especially serious, but Adams will still likely need to practice in some fashion by Friday for the Jets to feel good about his chances of playing Sunday against the Colts. Since being acquired from the Raiders on Oct. 15, Adams has gotten off to a slow start to his tenure with the Jets. Through four games, Adams has produced a 20-206-1 receiving line on 39 targets, with his 5.3 yards per target representing a steep decline from his career average (7.8).

After averaging 4.8 yards per carry on 27 attempts through Week 4, Allen has regressed to 2.8 YPC on 33 carries over the last six games as he continues to work in a change-of-pace role behind Breece Hall.

Shrader connected on both of his field-goal attempts but didn't get a PAT. He's one of two kickers on the Jets' practice squad -- also, Anders Carlson -- but considering Shrader got the call this week, he likely has better odds to do so again this coming Sunday against the Colts.

Impact The Murray State product tied Tony Adams as the Jets' second-leading tackler in Sunday's defeat, trailing just Jamien Sherwood's 17-tackle effort. Williams also posted his second double-digit tackle game of the season, bringing his totals up to 74 tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended through 10 weeks. He's expected to remain the Jets' top inside linebacker as the season progresses.
