Returns to starting role Glennon will start Sunday's game against the Bears, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Glennon was sharing first-team reps with Gardner Minshew throughout practice this week, but the Jaguars opted to spin another round of the quarterback carousel by inserting the veteran signal caller into the starting lineup against his former team. The 31-year-old was hardly impressive during his three-game stint as the starter earlier this season, completing just 61 percent of his passes for 600 yards and a 3:3 TD:INT ratio. Save for the blowout Week 14 loss to the Titans, the Jaguars can at least argue they were relatively close in each of Glennon's starts, but it's still a puzzling decision nevertheless considering the promise shown by Minshew over the past two seasons. It hardly matters this week, however, considering the Bears defense likely will present problems for either quarterback in Week 16.

Impact Glennon previously made three starts for the Jaguars in Weeks 12 through 14, losing hold of the gig after he completed 13 of 23 attempts for 85 yards and an interception in a 31-10 loss to the Titans. Minshew fared well in relief of Glennon and garnered the Week 15 start, but despite strong surface numbers -- 22-for-29 passing for 226 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions -- he largely struggled to move the Jacksonville offense until garbage time in the 40-14 loss to Baltimore. As a result, Marrone will once again evaluate the quarterback situation, most likely naming a Week 16 starter following Friday's practice. No matter whether Minshew or Glennon gets the nod, fantasy managers likely won't want to put their trust in either signal-caller in leagues that start only one quarterback.

Impact The Jaguars' starting quarterback spot has been a merry go round since a Week 8 bye, with all of Jake Luton, Glennon and now Gardner Minshew under center. Glennon was pulled from this past Sunday's game against the Titans after committing his fourth turnover in a little more than six quarters. If he doesn't make another appearance this season, he'll finish 2020 with 600 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions on 61-percent passing.
