Quiet with Hilton back
Pittman caught two of three targets for 35 yards and added a three-yard rush in Sunday's 31-3 win over Houston.
Impact
Pittman played second fiddle to T.Y. Hilton, who had four catches for 80 yards in his season debut. Hilton, who had previously been on IR due to a neck injury, exited early with a quadriceps injury, so it's possible Pittman will be thrust right back into a leading role. Pittman and Hilton were the only Colts with multiple catches as the team raced out to a big lead and relied on the running game, but there should be more receiving volume up for grabs in Week 7 against San Francisco.

Awesome TD catch Monday
Pittman caught six of seven targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 31-25 overtime loss to the Ravens.
Impact
Pittman didn't get his first touch until the second quarter but kept his momentum going afterward. He set up a field goal with a nice gain prior to halftime and was utilized on some quick screens in the second half. However, his night was definitely highlighted by his superb, 42-yard touchdown to begin the third quarter. That catch came as Pittman was forced to come back to a floating deep pass and tower over the opposing defensive back before carrying on through contact into the end zone. It was quite the way for the second-year pro to score his first touchdown of the season, and considering Pittman has now caught at least six passes in four straight games while topping 85 yards twice, he enters the Week 6 favorable matchup against the Texans with his stock on the rise.

Leads pass catchers in win
Pittman brought in six of eight targets for 59 yards in the Colts' 27-17 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact
It was another busy afternoon for Pittman, who led the Colts in receptions, receiving yardage and targets one week after logging 12 looks against the Titans. The big-bodied wideout continued to serve as a fixture in the short and intermediate passing windows for quarterback Carson Wentz, a role that does cap his fantasy upside on many weeks but helps lock in plenty of high-percentage targets. Pittman now has at least six receptions in three straight contests, and he'll look to record his first touchdown of the season in a Week 5 matchup on the road versus the Ravens on Monday night, Oct. 11.

Another 12-target outing
Pittman caught six of 12 targets for 68 yards in Sunday's 25-16 loss to the Titans.
Impact
Pittman saw a dozen passes thrown his way for the second straight week, helping him lead the Colts in all major receiving categories. Although his signal-caller was playing on two banged-up ankles, Pittman also could've scored his first touchdown of the campaign had Carson Wentz not missed him on an open pass to the end zone Sunday. Coming off last week's career-best eight catches for 123 yards, it was good to see Pittman remain the focal point of the Colts' passing game, and he'll strive to keep producing despite a potential matchup with Xavien Howard looming against the Dolphins in Week 4.

Dominant effort in Week 2 loss
Pittman (ankle) secured eight of 12 targets for 123 yards in the Colts' 27-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Impact
A late-week addition to the injury report, Pittman shook off his questionable designation to pace the Colts in receptions, receiving yardage and targets on the afternoon. Pittman likely derived some benefit from the absence of fellow wideout Parris Campbell (abdomen), and he quickly made up for a lackluster three-catch showing in Week 1 that cast some doubt on his ability to live up to his current de facto status as the No. 1 wideout in the team's offense. Pittman will look to build on the stellar performance in Week 3 when the Colts face off with the Titans in an AFC South road battle, although the health of quarterback Carson Wentz (ankle) will undoubtedly be pivotal to the receiver's fantasy outlook for that contest.

Cleared for Week 2
Pittman (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Impact
Pittman was a late addition to the Colts' injury report after hurting his ankle in practice Friday, but the issue won't be significant enough to keep him off the field Sunday. The second-year wideout was on the field for all but two snaps in the Colts' Week 1 loss to the Seahawks, but he didn't see much volume in the passing game with three receptions for 29 yards on four targets.

Impact
Schefter adds that the team wants to test Pittman in pre-game warmups before making a final decision on his status. Pittman, who was added to the injury report Friday after being a limited participant in practice, will likely operate as Indianapolis' top option on the outside Week 2 with T.Y. Hilton (neck) on injured reserve.

Questionable against Rams
Pittman (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Impact
Pittman was a late addition to the injury report after being limited in practice Friday. He'll likely suit up and continue to start on the outside with T.Y. Hilton (neck) still sidelined. The 2020 second-round pick played all but two of the Colts' offensive snaps in Week 1 but had just three catches to show for all that playing time.

Just three receptions Sunday
Pittman had three receptions on four targets for 29 yards in Sunday's loss to Seattle.
Impact
Pittman played on 74 of the offense's 76 snaps as he took over the No. 1 receiver role with T.Y. Hilton out after neck surgery. However, he was just fourth on the team in targets as Indy's offensive line struggled to give Carson Wentz enough time to throw a deep ball. Wentz sustained 10 quarterback hits in the game. Because Indy's O-line is viewed as as strong unit, Pittman should improve if the unit bounces back and Wentz has more time to throw.

Impact
Even before he had the procedure to address a disc issue, Hilton was no longer the undisputed top option in the Indianapolis wideout room, but his absence nonetheless boosts early season target projections for Pittman, Zach Pascal and Parris Campbell. Given that he's locked in as a starter on the heels of a solid rookie campaign, Pittman looks like the upside play out of that group, though he profiles as a possession receiver more so than a big-play threat. He showed strength and elusiveness after the catch last season, creating some fantasy intrigue even if downfield targets are few and far between. The Colts expect Hilton to return this season, possibly as soon as October.
