Impact Ammendola was surprisingly busy despite his lack of field-goal attempts, as he was called upon to fill in as the punter after Braden Mann suffered a knee injury in the first quarter. The rookie kicker racked up 291 yards on six punts for a respectable average of 48.5 yards, but game score dictated that the Jets should go for two after both of their touchdowns. Ammendola will look to be more involved in his traditional kicking role against the Patriots in Week 2.
