Still not practicing Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact Brown is now at the four-week mark since he last practiced, though he's been doing work on a side field since at least Aug. 7, including some running and conditioning work during Wednesday's practice, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. The Ravens seemingly expect Brown to make it back for their MNF season opener in Las Vegas, whereas rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman (core muscle) figures to miss at least one or two games at the beginning of the year. In addition to Brown and Bateman, the Ravens have been practicing without fellow wideouts Sammy Watkins (undisclosed) and Miles Boykin (hamstring).

Missing fourth week of practice Brown (hamstring) won't practice Monday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Impact The speedy wideout still hasn't rejoined his teammates at practice since exiting early July 29. He was said to be nearing a return last week, but he never made it back before Saturday's 20-3 preseason win over the Panthers. Brown does still have three full weeks to get ready for Baltimore's season opener on Monday Night Football, leading a WR group that won't have first-round pick Rashod Bateman (core muscle) for at least the first few games. For now, the team's injury group includes Bateman, Brown, Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Miles Boykin (hamstring), a.k.a. four of the top-five wide receivers.

Nearing return to practice Brown (hamstring) didn't practice Monday, but he did look comfortable while running on the side, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.
Impact The speedy wideout seems to be gearing up for a return to practice, whereas Rashod Bateman (core muscle) is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks, and Sammy Watkins left Monday's session early with a potential injury. The Ravens appeared to have better WR depth this year, but durability already was a concern with the group before the recent issues. Brown and TE Mark Andrews remain the favorites to lead the team in targets.

Out for Saturday's game Brown (hamstring) won't play in Saturday's preseason game against New Orleans, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Fellow wideouts Miles Boykin (hamstring) and Rashod Bateman (groin) will also be out for Saturday's exhibition, with the latter in danger of missing Week 1 after his injury required surgery. Brown has been dealing with a hamstring injury since late July and still hasn't returned to practice.
AUGUST 14, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Works on side field Brown (hamstring) got in some conditioning work on a side field during Saturday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Impact While that's a step in the right direction for the wideout, who's been sidelined for the last seven practices, the Ravens plan to proceed cautiously with Brown. "You don't want to come back and re-injure it, as we've seen before," coach John Harbaugh noted. With that in mind, Brown's status for next Saturday's preseason opener against the Saints is cloudy.

Out again with hamstring injury Coach John Harbaugh revealed Monday that Brown's hamstring injury is worse than the Ravens originally thought, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Brown now has missed three straight practice since exiting Thursday's session early. Fellow Ravens wideout Rashod Bateman reportedly is dealing with a minor muscular issue, while oft-injured veteran Sammy Watkins actually has managed to stay healthy so far. If Brown and Bateman continue to miss time, it could open up first-team reps for Devin Duvernay, Miles Boykin and Tylan Wallace, among others.

Exits practice with possible injury Brown left Thursday's practice early with what appeared to be a minor leg injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact Brown initially stayed on the field and stretched his leg with a trainer before eventually leaving practice. He's been catching passes from Trace McSorley and Tyler Huntley in practice, as Lamar Jackson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. It's been a less-than-ideal first week of training camp for the Ravens.

Working with Jackson this summer? Brown likely will work out with QB Lamar Jackson this offseason, the Ravens' official website reports.
Impact Jackson and Brown both are from South Florida, as is new Ravens wideout Sammy Watkins. The team upgraded its receiving corps this offseason with the additions of Watkins and first-round pick Rashod Bateman, but Brown should still be the top downfield option, even if he doesn't match his 100 targets from last season. The speedy 24-year-old could benefit from improved efficiency now that opposing defenses have more than one wide receiver to worry about.
