Bounces back in Week 2
Joyner totaled a team-high eight tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 31-30 win over the Browns.
Impact
Joyner was much more productive in Week 2 after notching just one tackle in the season opener. The veteran safety has played all 123 of New York's defensive snaps through two weeks.

Healthy heading into 2022 campaign
Joyner (triceps) is healthy again after spending the majority of last season on injured reserve, Jack Bell of the Jets' official site reports.
Impact
Joyner signed a one-year deal with the Jets last offseason and was expected to serve as a starting safety. However, that plan was derailed after the 2014 second-round pick suffered a season-ending triceps injury during the first game of the season. Now healthy and back on another one-year contract, he projects to reclaim his starting spot in the secondary next to Jordan Whitehead, who signed a two-year deal this offseason.

Sticking with Jets
Joyner (triceps) re-signed with the Jets on a one-year deal Thursday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Joyner was expected to serve as a starting safety opposite Marcus Maye in the Jets' secondary in 2021. That plan was derailed after Joyner suffered a season-ending triceps injury in the first game of the season. He'll have another chance to make a significant impact in the team's secondary in 2022, especially given the expectation that Maye departs in free agency.

Moves to IR
Joyner (triceps) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Impact
Joyner logged 11 snaps in Week 1 before his season ended with a torn triceps. The Jets signed Jarrod Wilson to the active roster to help fill the void at safety, though he'll need to compete with Sheldrick Redwine for the starting strong safety job.
