INJURIES

Non-factor on offense Mitchell failed to record a single rush or target in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Rams.
Impact Mitchell played just two of the Ravens' 78 offensive snaps Sunday, behind fellow running backs Derrick Henry (38), Justice Hill (35) and Rasheen Ali (3). The 23-year-old speedster doesn't appear to be a priority in Baltimore's offensive attack at the moment despite the playmaking ability he can offer as a change-of-pace back. Barring injuries, Mitchell can be ignored for fantasy purposes going forward. Nonetheless, the East Carolina product will look to get more involved after the team's Week 7 bye when the Ravens host the Bears on Oct. 26.

Ravens' Week 6 game plan shockingly leaves explosive playmaker on ice The Baltimore Ravens had the perfect gameplan to let Keaton Mitchell loose in Week 6, but he was nowhere to be found.
OCTOBER 14, 2025 • EBONYBIRD.COM
Makes season debut in Week 5 Mitchell carried three times for eight yards and recorded a five-yard reception while returning five kickoffs for 120 yards in Sunday's 44-10 loss to the Texans.
Impact A healthy inactive for each of Baltimore's first four games, Mitchell suited up Sunday as the Ravens looked to add some dynamism to the backfield to help compensate for the absence of dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring). Though he took the field for just four of the Ravens' 43 offensive snaps, Mitchell got the ball on each of those plays. His usage didn't come in garbage time either; three of his snaps came prior to halftime. Though he doesn't yet appear poised to leapfrog Justice Hill as the top change-of-pace option behind starter Derrick Henry, Mitchell could see his role grow slightly in subsequent weeks if the 1-4 Ravens are keen on getting another big-play threat on the field to spark an offense that has sputtered over the past two games.

On track to be active Sunday Mitchell is expected to be active Sunday against the Texans, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Mitchell has been a scratch for each of the Ravens' first four games thus far, but it looks like he could contribute to the team's offense this week. In such a scenario, Mitchell would provide Baltimore's backfield, which also includes Derrick Henry, Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali, with a speed option in a contest that will be helmed by QB Cooper Rush, with star dual-threat signal-caller Lamar Jackson(hamstring) out versus Houston.
OCTOBER 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Could be active Week 5 Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that Mitchell "has a chance" to play Sunday versus the Texans, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
Impact Mitchell has been a healthy scratch for each of Baltimore's first four regular-season games, but with Lamar Jackson (hamstring) expected to sit out Week 5, the team could take a different backfield approach against Houston. If active Sunday, Mitchell will be in position to compete for complementary snaps behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill on offense, as well as with Rasheen Ali on special teams.

Inactive again Week 4 Mitchell (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game versus the Chiefs.
Impact Mitchell has now been ruled a healthy scratch for each of the first four weeks of the season. The Ravens will once again use Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali as the backup running backs behind bell-cow starter Derrick Henry. Mitchell's next chance to play is Week 5 versus the Texans on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Healthy scratch against Detroit Mitchell (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Lions.
Impact Mitchell will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive week as the Ravens rolling with Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali as the two rotational running backs behind Derrick Henry. Mitchell's next chance to play is Week 4 against the Chiefs, but the 23-year-old running back is out of the backfield rotation barring injury, illness or suspension to Henry, Hill or Ali.

Practicing Monday Mitchell (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact Mitchell had been sidelined since Baltimore's Aug. 7 preseason opener against the Colts, in which he had nine carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. He missed the team's second preseason game this past Saturday against the Cowboys, but the speedy running back seems to be on track to play in the preseason finale against Washington this coming Saturday. Mitchell averaged 8.4 yards per carry in eight games as a rookie in 2023 before tearing his ACL and returned to average just 2.0 yards per carry across five regular-season games in 2024.

Impact Mitchell hasn't practiced since suiting up in the Ravens' preseason opener on Thursday, Aug. 7, when he took nine carries for 68 yards and one touchdown. The nature of his injury wasn't revealed until Harbaugh touched on it Saturday, and even if he doesn't play next weekend, the running back will "be fine" for a Week 1 road matchup with the Bills on Sunday, Sept. 7. Once Mitchell is healthy, he's poised for a reserve role behind workhorse Derrick Henry and complementary option Justice Hill.

Misses Monday's practice Mitchell (undisclosed) did not participate in Monday's training camp practice, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact Mitchell hasn't practiced since the Ravens' preseason win over the Colts on Thursday, when he rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. The nature and severity of Mitchell's injury isn't clear, but he would be in jeopardy of missing Saturday's exhibition contest against the Cowboys were he not to return to practice. With Mitchell, Rasheen Ali (undisclosed) and Marcus Major (concussion) all sidelined, D'Ernest Johnson and Myles Gaskin will compete for RB3 reps behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.
