Questionable for Sunday
Coach Zac Taylor noted Friday that Chase (illness) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Per Baby, Chase didn't practice Friday due to his illness, but Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer previously reported that the wideout participated in the team's walk-through. In any case, Chase's status will now need to be monitored ahead of Sunday's 4:25 ET kickoff.

Breaks out with Browning
Chase recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 110 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions.
Impact
Chase and the entire Bengals' offense got off to a slow start, as he had only four catches on eight targets for 31 yards at halftime. That changed quick in the final two quarters, as Chase took his two targets for 15 and 64-yard touchdowns. The latter was particularly impressive, as he beat Amik Robertson on a double move to get wide open behind the defense. Chase's weekly outlook is hurt by the subpar play of Jake Browning, though Chase is talented enough to overcome the poor offensive environment and showcased that ability in Sunday's loss.

Does little with five catches
Chase secured five of eight targets for 23 yards in the Bengals' 28-3 loss to the Broncos on Monday night.
Impact
Chase led the Bengals in receptions, but on a night when Jake Browning threw for only 125 yards, that slotting didn't come close to leading to any meaningful fantasy production. Chase has recorded 10 receptions in his first two full games with Browning as his quarterback, but he's averaging only 7.3 yards per reception in that span, with only one of those catches going for 20+ yards. If Browning remains under center for a Week 5 home matchup against the Lions, Chase will be hard to trust against a talented Detroit defense irrespective of his upside.

Serviceable numbers in rout
Chase secured five of six targets for 50 yards, rushed once for nine yards and lost a fumble in the Bengals' 48-10 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
Impact
Chase was part of the collateral damage of a miserable day for the Bengals on both sides of the ball. The aggressive Vikings defense capitalized on Jake Browning's presence under center to collect two interceptions, three sacks and three fumble recoveries, but Chase still managed to tie for the team lead in receptions and also set the pace in receiving yards and targets. The star wideout's production will naturally be hard to trust on a week-to-week basis for as long as Joe Burrow (IR-toe) remains out, but Chase will undoubtedly remain heavily involved in an unenviable Week 4 road matchup against the Broncos on Monday night, Sept. 29.

Huge performance in win
Chase recorded 14 receptions on 16 targets for 165 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jaguars.
Impact
Chase struggled in Week 1 against the Browns along with the rest of the Bengals' offense. However, he bounced back in a big way in Week 2, doubling up Tee Higgins in targets while accounting for over half of the team's yards through the air. His touchdown came from four yards away early in the first quarter, and he then tacked on receptions of 25, 16, 14 and 13 yards. Even more impressive was that the majority of Chase's production came with Jake Browning under center after Joe Burrow departed in the second quarter with an apparent toe injury. If Burrow is sidelined for an extended period, Chase's production would likely dip, but his talent and role will keep him locked in as a top option at wide receiver.

Quiet 2025 debut
Chase recorded two receptions on five targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Browns.
Impact
The Bengals managed a surprisingly low 141 net yards, limiting the production of all their skill-position players. Chase tied for the team lead with five targets -- Joe Burrow attempted only 23 passes -- and also was responsible for the team's longest play from scrimmage on a 20-yard catch midway through the second quarter. While it was a disappointing start to the season, Chase and the entire Cincinnati offense should produce better in Week 2 against Jacksonville.
