INJURIES

One target in loss to Buffalo Lane caught his only target for 13 yards in Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Bills.
Impact The rookie wideout ran 21 routes on 30 dropbacks by Baltimore's three quarterbacks, but his one target represented just a 3.8 percent share. With Lamar Jackson (thumb) and Tyler Huntley (toe) both injured, Joe Fagnano (ankle) could be in line to start Thursday night against the Jaguars. It would be a downgrade for all Ravens skill players.

Three snags in loss Lane caught three of five targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 35-13 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Lane finished second on the team in targets behind fellow wideout Zay Flowers (11), and he was able to reel in at least three passes for the second straight week. With Lamar Jackson (ankle) nearing a return to action, Lane may be able to establish himself as a reliable red-zone threat for Baltimore moving forward this season. The rookie's next chance to record his first career touchdown will come in Week 8 versus the Bills.

NFL Trade Deadline: The Top Trade Candidate On All 32 Teams
Productive in first game back Lane brought in four of five targets for 40 yards in the Ravens' 13-10 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Impact Lane was making his return from a four-game stint on IR due to a wrist injury, and he set new career highs across the board after having gotten hurt in Week 1. Lane tied for second in receptions and targets while slotting in third in receiving yards on the afternoon for the Ravens. Lane's chemistry with Tyler Huntley was encouraging, but the rookie wideout's fantasy upside could truly be unlocked once he has a stretch of games to work with Lamar Jackson (ankle).
OCTOBER 19 • ROTOWIRE
Returning to action Sunday Lane (wrist) is active for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Impact Lane will suit up for the first time since Week 1 after practicing fully Wednesday through Friday.
OCTOBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Removed from IR Lane (wrist) was activated from injured reserve by Baltimore on Saturday.
Impact Although Lane is still listed as questionable, his activation from IR puts the rookie wide receiver on track to return for Sunday's game against the Browns. Lane was one of the Ravens' standout players during training camp, so he could be featured prominently in the offense alongside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman in his return.

On track to be activated from IR Lane (wrist) is "good to go" after practicing fully this week and is expected to be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN...
Impact Lane strung together a trio of full practices to draw the questionable tag for Week 6. It looks like the Ravens will have their rookie third-round wide receiver back on the field for Sunday's AFC North showdown, and Lane could slide right back into the WR2 role behind Zay Flowers and in front of Rashod Bateman. Lane fractured his wrist during the Ravens' Week 1 win against the Colts, when he caught one of three targets for 11 yards (with two of those targets occurring in the end zone).
OCTOBER 17 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable to return from IR Lane (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Cleveland.
Impact A full practice participant throughout the week, Lane will need to be taken off injured reserve on Friday or Saturday to play in Sunday's game. If that happens, he'll likely be Baltimore's third or fourth wide receiver, perhaps sharing snaps with Devontez Walker behind veteran starters Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman (both cleared to play after being listed on the injury report this week).
OCTOBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Full participant in practice return Lane (wrist) was a full participant in practice Wednesday after being designated for return from injured reserve.
Impact The Ravens opened Lane's 21-day evaluation window to begin Week 6 prep, after the rookie wideout missed the team's last four games while recovering from left wrist surgery. The rookie wideout was apparently able to stay on top of his conditioning while he was sidelined from practice over the past month, as he faced no limitations in his return to the field. If Lane is able to maintain full practice activity Thursday and Friday, the Ravens could bring him back from IR ahead of Sunday's game in Cleveland.
OCTOBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Could return in Week 6 Lane (wrist) "is expected to return to practice" and per head coach Jesse Minter "has a shot" to play Sunday against the Browns, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Impact Minter said Monday that Lane could be designated to return from injured reserve this week, and it now appears likely he will do so. His participation in practice -- or lack thereof -- from Wednesday through Friday will likely determine whether or not he is ultimately activated for Week 6.
OCTOBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Could return to practice Wednesday Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that the Ravens could designate Lane (wrist) to return from injured reserve as soon as Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner reports.
Impact The rookie third-rounder's offseason momentum was stymied when he fractured his wrist during the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts. Minter noted that Lane has kept up his conditioning while on IR, and there's a chance that the 22-year-old wideout could be back on the field for practice as soon as Wednesday, though it's unclear whether he'll be cleared to return for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 18.

Ravens' Lamar Jackson Ruled Out For Week 5, Tyler Huntley Set To Start

Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson has officially been ruled out for Week 5 against the Falcons. Tyler Huntley will start in his place.

Ravens' Lamar Jackson Ruled Out For Week 5, Tyler Huntley Set To Start
Making good progress with rehab Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Friday that Lane (wrist) is "doing really well" and "has put himself in a great position to be ready to roll when the time permits."
Impact Lane is eligible to return from injured reserve for Week 6, and while Minter didn't get into specifics, it does sounds like the rookie wideout is expected back fairly soon. Lane underwent surgery in mid-September after fracturing his wrist in a Week 1 win over the Colts. He played 24 snaps on offense in the first half of that game, catching one of three targets for 11 yards, with a short TD catch called back due to a penalty. Lane could be the team's No. 2 or 3 wide receiver when he returns.

Undergoes wrist surgery Coach Jesse Minter said Lane underwent wrist surgery Wednesday, and the Ravens placed the rookie wide receiver on injured reserve, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact Lane left the Ravens' Week 1 win at Indianapolis with a wrist injury that eventually was confirmed to include a fracture. With his move to IR, he'll be required to miss at least the next four games, meaning his next chance for game action is Sunday, Oct. 18 at Cleveland. As long as Lane is sidelined, Zay Flowers (hamstring), Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker (groin), Elijah Sarratt and LaJohntay Wester will be among those that fill in at wide receiver for Baltimore.

Ravens WR Ja’Kobi Lane Reportedly Set To Undergo Surgery For Fractured Wrist
Expected to undergo wrist surgery Lane (wrist) is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days, potentially as soon as Wednesday, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Lane suffered a fractured wrist in the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts on Sunday, and now that he's set for surgery, the rookie wideout is hopeful to miss only "about a month," according to Zenitz. With Zay Flowers (hamstring) also less than 100 percent, the Ravens could be dipping into their wideout depth early in the 2026 campaign. Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore and LaJohntay Wester picked up the slack against Indy, but Devontez Walker (groin) and rookie Elijah Sarratt could join the mix Sunday against the Saints.

Suffers fractured wrist Lane (wrist) suffered a fractured wrist in Sunday's 41-23 win over the Colts and will undergo further testing Monday, including an MRI, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Impact Lane is expected to face a multi-week absence due to the fractured wrist he sustained in his NFL debut, which led to the rookie third-round pick exiting the game after catching one of three targets for 11 yards. A more precise timetable for Lane's recovery will likely be established after the results of his MRI come in, but he will almost certainly sit out Week 2 against the Saints.
