INJURIES

Jake Funk - Joins 53-man roster Funk was signed to the Colts' active roster from their practice squad Tuesday.
Impact Funk joined the team's practice squad in November after a short stint with the Saints, proceeded by him being let go by the Rams in October. The 24-year-old should suit up Sunday against the Texans, which will be his first game with the Colts.

Injury to keep Foles out of Colts finale; Ehlinger to start

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Nick Foles will miss next weekend's season finale against Houston because of injured ribs
JANUARY 2 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Jelani Woods - Just three receptions Woods had three receptions for 19 yards on four targets in Sunday's loss at the Giants.
Impact Mo Alie-Cox got the start at tight end, but Woods played more snaps (35-31) and went out on more routes (15-10). Woods has become the leading pass target among Colts tight ends with Kylen Granson (ankle) sidelined. However, Indy's anemic pass offense won't result in many targets even with a good matchup in the season finale against Houston.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Alec Pierce - Three receptions Sunday Pierce had three receptions for 15 yards on five targets in Sunday's loss to the Giants.
Impact After a stretch where he had just eight receptions in six games, Pierce has had three receptions in both of the last two games. While that's not much production, at least he's showing some signs of relevance ahead of next season.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Jordan Wilkins - Gets eight touches in loss Wilkins had six carries for 23 yards and two receptions for 14 yards in Sunday's loss at the Giants.
Impact Wilkins played on 10 of the offense's 58 snaps and had more carries than Deon Jackson amid a blowout loss. Meanwhile, Zack Moss had 15 carries in a starting role. Wilkins could get a significant share of the playing time in the season finale this week against Houston, but it's hard to predict what the Colts will do on offense in a meaningless game.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Deon Jackson - Just three touches Jackson had three carries for 10 yards in Sunday's loss at the Giants.
Impact Jackson played just 14 snaps on offense and fell to third in carries behind starter Zack Moss and Jordan Wilkins. Three weeks ago, Jackson looked set to be the starter if Jonathan Taylor were to get hurt. However, Jackson has fallen out of favor after Taylor's season-ending ankle injury and now may be a third-stringer. It will be hard to count on many touches for Jackson even in a meaningless season finale against Houston.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Sam Ehlinger - Will start Week 18 Interim head coach Jeff Saturday said Monday that Ehlinger will start Sunday's regular season finale against the Texans, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Impact With Matt Ryan benched and Nick Foles (ribs) ruled out, Ehlinger will draw his third start of the season. The 2021 sixth-round pick completed 32 of 52 passes for 304 yards and one interception across back-to-back starts in Weeks 8 and 9. After being a healthy inactive in Week 17, Ryan is expected to operate as the backup to Ehlinger during the Colts' final game of the 2022 campaign.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Brandon Facyson - Exits with concussion Facyson left Sunday's loss to the Giants due to a concussion and did not return, 107.5 FM The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Impact Facyson's season is likely over as a result as there's little reason for him to play in Week 18 with nothing left for the Colts to play for. The veteran cornerback has been filling a rotational role in the Colts' secondary, logging between 43 and 56 percent of the team's defensive snaps over the prior three contests.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Nick Foles - Won't play in finale Foles (ribs) won't play Sunday against the Texans, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Impact Interim coach Jeff Saturday said Foles is "really sore" after exiting the team's Week 17 loss to the Giants with a rib injury, so the veteran quarterback will sit out the regular season finale. Sam Ehlinger will draw another start, while Matt Ryan will operate as the backup.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Chase McLaughlin - Converts one field goal in loss McLaughlin went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts while making his only extra-point try in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Giants.
Impact McLaughlin made a chip-shot 23-yard field goal on the Colts' second possession of the game before later missing a 48-yard try wide right early in the third quarter. The kicker was able to make his only PAT attempt in the third period as well, maintaining a perfect 17-for-17 on extra points this season. Overall, McLaughlin has gone 29-for-35 on field-goal tries this year, good for an 83 percent success rate this year. He'll look to make at least one field goal for a 15th consecutive game as the Colts take on the Texans in their final contest of the campaign in Week 18.
JANUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Parris Campbell - Team-high yardage total in loss Campbell brought in three of six targets for 52 yards and rushed once for one yard in the Colts' 38-10 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
Impact Campbell led the Colts in receiving yardage thanks almost entirely to a 49-yard grab. The speedster has been blessed with an extended stretch of good health for the first time in his career this season, and he'll look to build on what was his best receiving yardage total since Week 11 in the regular-season finale versus the Texans at home.
JANUARY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Michael Pittman Jr. - Finds end zone in lopsided loss Pittman secured six of eight targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 38-10 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
Impact Pittman led the Colts in receptions and targets while checking in second in receiving yardage. The sure-handed receiver's six-yard scoring grab late in the third quarter served as the only touchdown of the day for Indianapolis, and his production on the day left him just four receptions short of the 100-catch mark for the season, as well as five yards shy of the 900-yard threshold. Pittman has just three touchdowns overall in 2022, so he'll look to improve on that tally in a Week 18 home matchup against the Texans.
JANUARY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Zack Moss - Productive rushing day in loss Moss rushed 15 times for 74 yards in the Colts' 38-10 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
Impact Moss was one of the few bright spots on the day for Indianapolis, comfortably pacing the team in rushing yards in an extension of what's turning into a late-season audition. Moss has logged double-digit carries in each of his last three contests and has parlayed that opportunity into 208 yards. The fourth-year pro should have another elevated role in the Week 18 finale at home against the Texans' vulnerable run defense.
JANUARY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Sam Ehlinger - Serviceable in emergency duty Ehlinger replaced an injured Nick Foles (ribs) to open the second half of the Colts' 38-10 loss to the Giants on Sunday and completed nine of 14 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown...
Impact The second-year signal-caller's final numbers were respectable and mistake-free, and he even facilitated Indianapolis' only touchdown of the afternoon with a six-yard pass to Michael Pittman late in the third quarter. Ehlinger could be in line for his third start of the season in a Week 18 home matchup against the Texans if Foles is unable to suit up and interim head coach Jeff Saturday opts to keep Matt Ryan as a backup.

Nick Foles - Exits game with rib injury Foles was forced out of Sunday's game against the Giants with a an injury to his ribs, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact Prior to his exit from the game, Foles had completed eight of his 13 pass attempts for 81 yards and a pick. With Matt Ryan inactive Sunday, Sam Ehlinger will take over at QB for the Colts.
JANUARY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Matt Ryan - Healthy scratch again Sunday Ryan (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 17 game against the Giants.
Impact The veteran signal-caller will once again be left off the game day roster in favor of second-year pro Sam Ehlinger, who'll serve as starter Nick Foles' backup. Barring an injury to either of the two players in front of him, Ryan appears destined for the same status in next Sunday's regular-season finale against the Texans.

Keke Coutee - Moves up from practice squad Coutee was elevated from the practice squad Saturday.
Impact The Colts have maneuvered Coutee's status on the roster frequently as the 2018 fourth-round pick has appeared in six games with Indianapolis, but he's technically only signed one contract on the active roster. Coutee has played in two offensive snaps this season.
DECEMBER 31, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Yannick Ngakoue - Done for year Ngakoue (throat) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Impact The talented pass rusher was evidently hit in the throat during Monday's loss to the Chargers, an injury that will end Ngakoue's season early. The 27-year-old tallied a team-high 9.5 sacks in his first season with the Colts and proved to be a solid offseason addition. Alongside the young and emerging Kwity Paye and Dayo Odeyingbo, Ngakoue should be poised for more sack production in future seasons.
DECEMBER 31, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Yannick Ngakoue - Late add to Week 17 injury report Ngakoue is considered questionable to play Sunday versus the Giants due to a throat injury, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.
Impact Ngakoue popped up on the Colts' Week 17 injury report for the first time Friday. It's unclear when or how this throat issue first arose, as the 27-year-old defensive end still was still a full participant during the team's final practice ahead of Sunday's game. Ngakoue has recorded a team-high 9.5 sacks over 15 games during his first season with Indianapolis in 2022, so it will be worth monitoring his availability on the inactives list released 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 pm E.T. kickoff. Should Ngakoue ultimately sit out, expect Ben Banogu and Dayo Odeyingbo to see increased usage opposite starter Kwity Paye.
