Packers list QB Jordan Love, WR Jayden Reed and RB MarShawn Lloyd as questionable for Sunday

The Green Bay Packers have listed quarterback Jordan Love as questionable for Sunday’s home opener with the Indianapolis Colts as he recovers from an injury to his left medial coll...

Julian Blackmon - Missing Week 2 Blackmon (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Packers.
Impact Blackmon was held out of both Wednesday and Thursday's practices due to a shoulder injury, so it's no surprise that the 26-year-old won't suit up in Week 2. Expect Trevor Denbow and Rodney Thomas to see increased work with Indianapolis' first-team defense in Blackmon's stead.
SEPTEMBER 13, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Downs - Questionable despite full practice Downs (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers after logging a full practice Friday.
Impact It was encouraging that Downs upgraded from limited participation Wednesday and Thursday to full participation Friday, but that wasn't enough to get his name off the team's injury report. Downs hadn't practiced for five weeks before his activity this week, and he sat out the regular-season opener against the Texans, so even if he gets the green light Sunday, Downs likely won't have a full workload. Alec Pierce could once again be the main beneficiary of Downs' absence.

Colts, Packers attempt to bounce back from season-opening losses

Josh Downs - Remains limited at practice Downs (ankle) remained a limited participant at practice Thursday.
Impact Two straight limited sessions to open Week 2 prep offer hope that Downs could suit up Sunday against the Packers after missing last week's season-opening loss to the Texans due to a left high-ankle sprain. However, unless the wideout practices fully Friday, he'll likely head into the weekend with an injury designation.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Kwity Paye - Sidelined at practice Thursday Paye (hamstring) did not practice Thursday.
Impact Paye has missed back-to-back practices due to a hamstring injury sustained Week 1. In order to suit up Sunday on the road against Green Bay, it seems like Paye will need to at least upgrade to a limited practice session Friday. Laiatu Latu figures to step into an expanded role on defense if Paye misses any time.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Julian Blackmon - Misses Thursday's practice Blackmon (shoulder) did not practice Thursday.
Impact Blackmon has now missed back-to-back practices, so he may need to participate in at least a limited capacity Friday for any chance of being available for Sunday's road matchup against the Packers. Trevor Denbow and Rodney Thomas will be candidates to handle increased defensive snaps if Blackmon misses any time.

DeForest Buckner - Game-time decision Buckner (back) did not practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact Buckner has yet to practice this week as he continues to tend to a back injury he suffered in Week 1 against the Texans. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Oregon product sit out Friday as well, in an attempt to maximize his recovery time ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers. He told Boyd in the locker room that he would be a game-time decision for the matchup and clarity of his status for it probably won't come until the team announces its inactive list about 90 minutes before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Cameron McGrone - Updates injury McGrone suffered a dislocated elbow during training camp, which led to his placement on injured reserve, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact McGrone's injury was previously unknown, but he clarified the issue with Boyd on Thursday. The Michigan product underwent surgery to help repair the injury and plans to return this season. Exactly how much longer he'll be out remains unclear, but his placement on IR before Week 1 means he'll be out at least three more weeks.

Julian Blackmon - Dealing with shoulder issue Blackmon (shoulder) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.
Impact Indianapolis' top strong safety logged 13 total tackles during the team's Week 1 loss, but it appears he may have sustained a shoulder injury in that effort. Blackmon's practice participation Thursday and Friday will provide a better indication of whether the 26-year-old will be able to suit up for the Colts in Week 2.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Kwity Paye - Misses Wednesday's practice Paye (hamstring) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.
Impact Paye logged 1.0 sack during the Colts' Week 1 loss, but he now appears to be dealing with a hamstring issue that could put his Week 2 status in jeopardy. If the 2021 first-round pick misses more practices throughout the week, expect Laiatu Latu to see increased work with the Colts' first-team defense.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Downs - Logs limited practice Downs (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Impact Downs, who continues to progress in his recovery from a high-ankle sprain that he sustained Aug. 7, noted per James Boyd of The Athletic, the he felt "70 percent" last week and is now feeling in the "80-90 percent" range. At this stage, the wideout says that the key to him feeling capable of playing this Sunday against the Packers rests in his ability to run and cut without thinking about his ankle.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Matt Gay - All clear for Week 2 Gay (sports hernia) practiced in full Wednesday.
Impact Gay looks all set to suit up against the Packers on Sunday after having sat out Week 1 while recovering from sports hernia surgery. Coach Shane Steichen said Wednesday that Gay is "good to go" to suit up on the road in Green Bay, per George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin, so fantasy managers should have complete confidence in the starting kicker's availability now that he's practicing without restrictions.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
DeForest Buckner - Stays sidelined Buckner (back) will not practice Wednesday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
Impact Buckner suffered the injury late in Week 1's loss to the Texans and is still tending to the injury. However, head coach Shane Steichen was hopeful the veteran would be able to suit up for Week 2 on Monday. His absence Wednesday should probably be taken lightly in any attempt to prognosticate his availability for Sunday's game against the Packers. He'll try to get back on the field Thursday or Friday, but it wouldn't be surprising if Buckner was able to play without practicing this week either.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Matt Gay - Should play Week 2 Head coach Shane Steichen stated that Gay (sports hernia) is "good to go" for Sunday's game against the Packers, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Impact Gay is expected to return to practice Wednesday after being out of action since undergoing surgery, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. The Utah product was replaced by Spencer Shrader for Week 1's loss to the Texans, who has since reverted to the team's practice squad. However, an official word on who will be kicking for the Colts in Week 2 won't come until Gay is absent from the team's injury report.
