Anthony Richardson - Could play without practice Coach Shane Steichen noted Wednesday that Richardson, who is considered day-to-day with oblique and abdominal strains, could still play Sunday against the Jaguars even he if doesn'...
Impact With that in mind, Richardson's status for Wednesday's practice has yet to be determined, but the key nugget to glean here is that Richardson has a chance to play this weekend. If, however, he's unavailable, Joe Flacco would be in line to get the start at QB versus Jacksonville in his place.

Jonathan Taylor - Not practicing Wednesday Coach Shane Steichen noted that Taylor (ankle) won't practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact Taylor thus has two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, but for now his Week 5 status is cloudy. If he's unavailable this weekend, Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson are next up for the team's backfield duties, with Evan Hull and Trent Pennix candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Mo Alie-Cox - Not involved in Week 4 Alie-Cox did not record a single target in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Alie-Cox played 31 of the Colts' 66 offensive snaps Sunday, ahead of fellow tight ends Drew Ogletree (24) and Kylen Granson (20). Despite playing the most snaps, Alie-Cox continued to operate primarily as a blocker and failed to record a catch for the third time through four games. The 31-year-old veteran should not be trusted for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 5 matchup against the Jaguars.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Kylen Granson - Not targeted in win Granson failed to record a single target in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Granson remains part of crowded tight end rotation, splitting snaps with teammates Mo Allie-Cox and Drew Ogletree. The 26-year-old Granson played 20 of the Colts' 66 offensive snaps, while Allie-Cox and Ogletree played 31 and 24 snaps, respectively. Through four weeks, the 6-foot-3, 242-pounder has just two catches for 49 yards. Granson remains far off the fantasy radar when the Colts visit the Jaguars in Week 5.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Adonai Mitchell - Held catchless against Steelers Mitchell failed to secure any of his three targets in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Mitchell added one carry for 10 yards in the contest. The rookie wideout failed to record a catch for the second-straight week with teammate Josh Downs back in the lineup in each of the last two games. Mitchell played 20 percent of the Colts' offensive snaps in Week 4, limiting his opportunities to contribute in a meaningful way. As long as Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce and Downs are healthy, the 21-year-old Mitchell will likely continue to operate in a reserve role, limiting his fantasy utility. The Colts will visit the Jaguars in Week 5.

Dayo Odeyingbo - Registers 1.5 sacks vs. Pittsburgh Odeyingbo tallied three tackles (one solo), including 1.5 sacks, during Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Odeyingbo had a solo sack on quarterback Justin Fields for a four-yard loss late in the second quarter, and the former followed that up with a split sack with Tyquan Lewis (calf) just four plays later. Odeyingbo has logged 50 defensive snaps in each of the last two games, which coincides with Kwity Paye missing time due to a quadriceps injury. Through the first four games of the regular season, Odeyingbo has accumulated nine tackles (five solo), including 2.0 sacks.
OCTOBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Zaire Franklin - Tallies nine tackles vs. Steelers Franklin registered nine tackles (six solo) during Sunday's 27-24 win over Pittsburgh.
Impact Franklin finished Sunday's game as the second-leading tackler for the Colts behind E.J. Speed (13). Franklin has played in every single defensive snap through the first four games of the regular season, and his 41 total tackles ranks 10th in the NFL.
OCTOBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
E.J. Speed - Career-high 12 solo tackles Sunday Speed finished Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers with 13 tackles (12 solo).
Impact Speed once again led the Colts in tackling Sunday and was one of five Indianapolis defenders to play all 70 snaps on defense. Speed's 12 solo tackles is a career high, and his 13 combined tackles tied a career best he set in Week 18 against the Texans in 2023. Speed's 34 solo tackles leads the NFL through the first four games of the regular season, and his 47 total tackles is tied with teammate Nick Cross.
OCTOBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tyquan Lewis - Will miss time Lewis (calf) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Impact Lewis exited Sunday's win over the Steelers with the injury, but he ultimately returned to the game. However, it appears his calf may be in worse shape than originally anticipated with his shift to IR. He'll now be forced to miss at least the next four games, which will lead to extra opportunities for Dayo Odeyingbo and Laiatu Latu.
OCTOBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Drew Ogletree - TD reception in win Ogletree caught a 15-yard touchdown on his only target in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh.
Impact It was just Ogletree's second reception of the season as Indy hasn't utilized tight ends in the passing game and splits targets among three tight ends. Ogletree played on just 24 of the offense's 66 snaps and went out on six routes. His minimal usage makes him a poor fantasy option despite the touchdown reception.

Colts overcome rash of injuries by plugging holes with reliable stable of replacements

Anthony Richardson - Viewed as day-to-day Richardson is considered day-to-day with oblique and abdominal strains, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact Per Pelissero, Richardson has a chance to play Sunday against the Jaguars, with added context regarding the QB's status slated to arrive no later that Wednesday, when the Colts return to practice. In the event that Richardson is unavailable this weekend, Joe Flacco would be in line to get the start versus Jacksonville.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Jonathan Taylor - Not a candidate for IR The Colts are not considering injured reserve as an option for Taylor (ankle), who sustained a 'mild' high-ankle sprain during the team's 27-24 win over the Steelers in Week 4, Mik...
Impact Taylor would have to miss at least four games if placed on IR, but it doesn't look like Indianapolis believes the star running back will require that long a timeframe to complete his recovery. Still, even if Taylor's high-ankle sprain isn't as serious as similar issues he's dealt with in the past, such injuries more often than not result in players having to spend some time on the sideline. Trey Sermon will figure to operate as the Colts' starting running back if Taylor can't suit up on the road against Jacksonville on Sunday, while Tyler Goodson would step into the No. 2 role.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Matt Gay - Misses one in win Gay made all three of his extra-point tries but missed one of his three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Gay connected on FGAs of 33 and 35 yards, but missed a 54-yard attempt in the third quarter that would have given the Colts a 20-3 lead. The Utah product is now 0-for-2 from 50-plus yards on the season, but he is 7-for-7 on PATs.

NFL Week 4 highlights: Ravens thump Bills, Chiefs get comeback win
Alec Pierce - Quiet against Pittsburgh Pierce recorded one reception on two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Pierce has produced through big plays early this season, as he's tallied three catches of more than 40 yards in four games. He got one deep target from Joe Flacco just before halftime against the Steelers, but he was well covered by Donte Jackson and the pass fell incomplete. Pierce will likely have productive games due to his explosive potential, but he'll be an inconsistent contributor.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Trey Sermon - Totals eight yards Sermon rushed the ball five times for eight yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Sermon didn't earn his first touch until late in the third quarter but closed out the game as the Colts' lead back after Jonathan Taylor (ankle) was forced to the sidelines. He was ineffective with his opportunity, but Sermon could be in for a significant workload in Week 5 against the Jaguars if Taylor is unable to suit up.

Secret behind Jayden Daniels' success, and what we learned in Sunday's Week 4 slate

FOX Sports' NFL experts break down what we learned from Sunday's NFL action and what it means for every team in the league.

Secret behind Jayden Daniels' success, and what we learned in Sunday's Week 4 slate
Jonathan Taylor - High-ankle sprain viewed as mild Taylor was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain after Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers, but it's believed to be a mild version of the injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Taylor will get additional tests Monday to confirm the diagnosis, but the early news on the ankle injury that forced him out of Sunday's win is relatively positive. This high-ankle sprain isn't believed to be as bad as some of the previous ones Taylor has dealt with. Nonetheless, Taylor may miss some game action, and Trey Sermon would be in line to lead Indianapolis' backfield in Week 5 against the Jaguars if Taylor doesn't play.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Downs - Big day against Steelers Downs recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Downs was on the field for 51 percent of offensive snaps in Week 3 -- his season debut-- but he appeared fully up to speed against Pittsburgh seven days later. He matched Michael Pittman in targets and led the team in receptions while working primarily in short areas of the field and as an effective chain mover. However, he also showed plenty of playmaking ability, highlighted by a four-yard touchdown late in the first quarter and a 25-yard catch and run to help set up an additional score later in the third quarter. Downs' skills likely mesh better with Joe Flacco as opposed to Anthony Richardson (hip), though he's gained a foothold in the Colts' offense and should have the chance to be productive regardless of who is under center.

QB Love can't dig the Packers all the way out of an early hole in his return from a knee injury

SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 • Associated Press
Joe Flacco - Victorious in relief Flacco completed 16 of 26 passes for two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
Impact Flacco entered the game in relief of Anthony Richardson (hip) on the team's second drive with the benefit of a lead. He did his part to keep the Colts in front by throwing for scores of 15 and five yards, while also completing a pair of passes for more than 20 yards. Flacco showed the ability to distribute the ball very effectively as a starter for the second half of the 2023 season with the Browns, and the Colts have solid offensive skill-position players that should once again help him if Richardson is forced to miss any additional time.
