Impact Walston signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent at the beginning of May after recording 18 receptions for 184 yards and two touchdowns during his final campaign at North Carolina. However, he's been cut in favor of Troy Fumagalli, who appears to be healthy after missing last season due to an undisclosed injury.
