Back in starting seat Coach Doug Marrone said Monday that Minshew will start Sunday's game in Baltimore, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.

Impact Minshew entered last weekend's loss to the Titans in relief of Mike Glennon early in the second half, completing 18 of 31 pass attempts for 178 yards and one touchdown. The second-year signal-caller's performance has earned him the starting nod for Week 15, but he'll draw a tough matchup on the road in Baltimore.

Impact Minshew entered the game in relief of Mike Glennon, who was benched for poor performance. Minshew played nearly the entire second half and led the Jaguars to their only touchdown of the game. However, as has been typical, Minshew didn't look to push down the field, with his longest completion of the day going for 22 yards. It remains unclear whether Minshew or Glennon will be under center in Week 15 when the Jaguars take on the Ravens.

Impact Minshew has been dealing with multiple fractures and a sprained ligament to the thumb on his throwing hand for nearly a month, missing three games along the way. He at least took a step forward last week by practicing in a limited fashion Wednesday through Friday and carrying a questionable tag into the weekend, but he was ultimately inactive for the Jaguars' 27-3 loss to the Steelers. Per John Shipley of SI.com, Minshew is slated to increase his throwing in practice this week, and if he demonstrates enough progress, he could be active as the backup over Jake Luton, who has been benched in favor of Glennon after starting the past three weeks. Assuming Minshew endures no setbacks and is able to progressively ramp up his activity, he should be on track to reclaim starting duties Week 13 in Minnesota, regardless of how Glennon performs against Cleveland.
