Impact Though the concussion clouds Parham's availability heading into the final three games of the regular season, the diagnosis is a welcome outcome after the tight end appeared to lose consciousness and was subsequently stretchered off the field early in the first quarter when his head slammed hard into the ground. Fortunately for Parham, he was deemed to be in stable condition upon arriving at the hospital, and follow-up tests and imaging revealed nothing beyond the concussion. He'll now have to navigate the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries as the Chargers prepare for a Dec. 26 matchup with the Texans in Week 16.

Impact Parham played 41 percent of all offensive snaps, but he was held in check against a New York defense that gives up the 14th most yards to the tight-end position. After catching three touchdowns in his first six games this season, the young tight end has not caught a TD pass in his last five outings. For the 24-year-old to be an effective tight end in fantasy, he must figure out a way to get back in the end zone due to a lack of targets (26 in 13 games). Parham and the Chargers get a Chiefs defensive unit on Thursday, one that has looked very strong as of late.

Impact Parham recorded his second-straight game with fewer than 10 receiving yards and was on the field for a season-low 16 offensive snaps. Although the Chargers have given Parham additional opportunities lately with starter Jared Cook struggling, the 6-foot-8 target failed to produce for the second game in a row. Even in the red zone, the one place Parham theoretically should excel, the Chargers looked instead to Keenan Allen (who scored twice) and lead back Austin Ekeler. If this game proves to be an indication of the Chargers' offensive scheme around the goal-line moving forward, the prospects are dismal for Parham and Cook who have been utilized equally in this area of the field.

Impact Parham continued to function in his role as the secondary tight end option on the team and saw 26 offensive snaps. His lone catch helped advance the ball into Minnesota territory and contributed to a touchdown drive early in the third quarter. Although Parham hasn't been a major focal point for the offense, he has been looked upon in the red zone at a very high rate (four of his 14 targets have been in the red zone), which has translated into three touchdowns on the year. Parham is only averaging 1.6 targets a game, and, barring an injury to top tight end option Jared Cook, he doesn't figure to see an increase in his workload.

The big-bodied target managed to capitalize on single coverage in the red zone to rumble ahead for the go-ahead score in the third quarter, but more importantly Parham saw his most targets since Week 4. Expect the 24-year-old to be a perpetual touchdown-dependent fantasy asset most weeks.
