Impact Though the concussion clouds Parham's availability heading into the final three games of the regular season, the diagnosis is a welcome outcome after the tight end appeared to lose consciousness and was subsequently stretchered off the field early in the first quarter when his head slammed hard into the ground. Fortunately for Parham, he was deemed to be in stable condition upon arriving at the hospital, and follow-up tests and imaging revealed nothing beyond the concussion. He'll now have to navigate the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries as the Chargers prepare for a Dec. 26 matchup with the Texans in Week 16.
