INJURIES

Scores through ground and air Henderson rushed 21 times for 78 yards and a touchdown and brought in two of three targets for 29 yards and another score in the Rams' 38-11 win over the Giants on Sunday.
Impact The third-year back once again served as the clear lead back while outpacing Sony Michel by 12 carries. Henderson crossed the goal line from two and 23 yards out on the ground and through the air, respectively, on back-to-back drives late in the first half. The 24-year-old's receiving score was his first of the season, and he's now found the end zone as a rusher on four occasions over his first five games. Henderson will look to exploit another favorable matchup when the Rams host the winless Lions in Week 7.

Explosive, efficient in win Henderson rushed 17 times for 82 yards and a touchdown while bringing in his only target for 17 yards in the Rams' 26-17 win over the Seahawks on Thursday night.
Impact For the second time in five days, Henderson looked explosive on several of his runs, leading to another highly efficient night on the ground. Even with the short turnaround between games, Henderson logged a season-high number of carries, notching his second-highest yardage tally on the ground in the process. The 24-year-old still worked as the clear lead back with Sony Michel logging six fewer carries, and Henderson figures to continue in that role against the Giants in a Week 6 road matchup a week from Sunday.

FANTASY PLAYS: Players to start and sit for NFL Week 5

Ready for Thursday Henderson (ribs) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game at Seattle, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Impact Henderson went through the same practice routine for a second consecutive week, being listed as limited on the first two injury reports before putting in a full session on the final one. Coach Sean McVay relayed to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com on Wednesday that it should be "all hands on deck" for Thursday, and indeed every injured Ram has avoided a designation for the contest. Henderson likely is good to handle a similar workload to this past Sunday, when he turned an 89-percent share of the snaps into 19 touches for 116 yards from scrimmage against the Cardinals. Sony Michel will be on hand for any RB reps that linger.

Rams look to rebound from first loss facing rival Seahawks

Logs another limited practice Henderson (ribs) was limited at Tuesday's walkthrough, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Impact The Rams continue to impose limitations on Henderson's practice reps after he sat out Week 3 due to a rib cartilage injury, likely to ensure he's as healthy as possible with the team poised to play two games in the span of five days. This past Sunday against the Rams, Henderson returned to action as L.A.'s unquestioned back, taking 19 touches for 116 yards from scrimmage. Behind Henderson, Sony Michel earned the rest of the RB snaps and touches en route to three carries for 11 yards, so the former should handle the bulk of the backfield work Thursday at Seattle, assuming he's active as expected.

Rams determined to rebound from thrashing on short week

Listed as limited on practice estimate Henderson (rib) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimation, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Impact Henderson, who was sidelined by a rib issue Week 3, logged 61 of a possible 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Cardinals, en route to carrying 14 times for 89 yards and catching five of his six targets for 27 yards. With no reported setbacks in the contest, we'll operate under the assumption that Henderson's listed limitations imply that his reps would have been managed had the Rams, who play Seattle on Thursday, actually practiced Monday.

Tops 100 scrimmage yards in loss Henderson carried the ball 14 times for 89 yards and caught five of six targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Cardinals.
Impact Sony Michel committed an early fumble and wound up seeing only three carries on the afternoon, but Henderson's performance likely would have led to him dominating backfield touches for the Rams anyway. After missing last week's contest with a rib issue, he looked 100 percent healthy and secure in the lead role heading into a Week 5 tilt against the Seahawks.

Murray keeps Cardinals unbeaten with 37-20 rout of Rams

The Arizona Cardinals extended their longest unbeaten start since 2012 with a 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams
OCTOBER 3, 2021 • Associated Press
Listed as active Sunday Henderson (rib) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Henderson is back in the mix after missing last week's win over the Buccaneers, in which fellow RB Sony Michel logged 23 touches for 79 yards on a 74-percent snap share, while backup Jake Funk was given just one carry. It's unclear if Henderson will revert to his early-season volume in his return to action, but it's worth noting that he played 94 percent of snaps Week 1 and was on track for a similar load in Week 2 before he suffered his rib injury. Even if he cedes work to Michel in Week 4, Henderson still has a chance to lead the way versus Arizona, barring any in-game issues.

Impact Henderson looks like he'll end up missing just the one game, which happened to be a nightmare matchup against Tampa Bay's stellar run defense last week. Sony Michel took 23 touches for 79 yards on a 74-percent snap share in that contest, while backup Jake Funk was given just a lone carry. It's unclear if Henderson will return to an every-down role; he played 94 percent of snaps Week 1 and was on track for about the same in Week 2 until he sustained a rib-cartilage injury. Even if he's subbed out more often, Henderson should lead the way this Sunday against Arizona, assuming he avoids the inactive list -- as expected -- prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.
