Seahawks' Wilson feeling the rush since 1st Arizona game

With all the yards and touchdowns he’s thrown for this season, Seattle’s Russell Wilson has been more exposed as a passer than any other point in his career
NOVEMBER 18, 2020 • Associated Press
Practices at full speed Hyde (hamstring) was a full participant at Tuesday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact Hyde is set to return from a three-game absence, and his role in Thursday night's game against Arizona will depend on whether Chris Carson (foot) is active. Carson suffered his injury in Week 7 against the Cardinals, opening the door for Hyde to function as the lead back for the rest of the contest. The 30-year-old performed well with a season-high 15 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown and three receptions for eight yards, but he injured his hamstring in the process. Both backs could return Thursday, and if Carson plays, Hyde will take a back seat against the Seahawks' NFC West rival.

Second straight loss for Seattle rests on Wilson's mistakes

The responsibility wasn’t on the Seattle Seahawks' defense for a change
NOVEMBER 17, 2020 • Associated Press
Listed as limited to start week Hyde (hamstring) is listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Impact The Seahawks didn't physically practice Monday, but Hyde's 'limited' designation is a sign that he's ready to resume handling reps. Coach Pete Carroll said that he doesn't yet know whether Hyde or top running back Chris Carson (foot) will be available Thursday, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic, but it at least looks like the 30-year-old veteran is making progress.

Not back from injury Hyde (hamstring) was ruled out ahead of the contest Sunday against the Rams, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Impact Both Hyde and Chris Carson (foot) won't play Sunday which leaves the Seahawks' backfield precariously thin once more. Expect the combination of Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas to operate as the two main options in the team's backfield during the pivotal divisional matchup.

Seahawks without starting center, both starting CBs vs. Rams

The Seattle Seahawks will be without their starting center and both of their starting cornerbacks for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams
NOVEMBER 13, 2020 • Associated Press
Questionable for Sunday Hyde (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's road contest against the Rams, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Impact Both Hyde and Chris Carson (foot) received the same designation for Week 10, and coach Pete Carroll told Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic that the running backs likely will be "game-time decisions." Because the Seahawks have a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday, the breakdown of the backfield is in flux as the weekend kicks off. Aside from Hyde and Carson, Seattle has two healthy options (Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas) in the backfield.

No practice Thursday Hyde (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact Yet again, Hyde was unable to practice due to a balky hamstring. He was joined by Chris Carson (foot) on the pine, while Travis Homer (knee) was a limited participant. Considering the injuries affecting the trio, the Seahawks may be forced to go with DeeJay Dallas and Homer for a third consecutive game Sunday versus the Rams.

Seahawks shaky pass D could be without both starting CBs

Already the worst pass defense in the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks could be down both of their starting cornerbacks for Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Rams
NOVEMBER 12, 2020 • Associated Press
Sitting out Wednesday Hyde (hamstring) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Impact Along with Chris Carson (foot), Hyde has been off the practice field since Week 7 due to a tight hamstring, going down as a non-participant on seven consecutive injury reports. Notably, coach Pete Carroll said Monday that he expects both backs to practice this week, but now Hyde and Carson have just Thursday and Friday to prove their respective healths. If one or both misses a third straight game Sunday against the Rams, the Seahawks backfield again will be headed by the combination of Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas.

NOVEMBER 10, 2020 • Associated Press
Practice likely this week Coach Pete Carroll said Hyde (hamstring) is slated to practice this week to see if a return is possible Sunday versus the Rams, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle repo...
Impact Hyde has missed the last two games due to a strained hamstring, while typical lead back Chris Carson (foot) has been sidelined during that same stretch. Carroll said Monday that both players have "a chance" to suit up this weekend, but there may not be much clarity until the Seahawks release their first Week 10 injury report Wednesday. If either Hyde or Carson put themselves into a position to play Sunday, their presence would impact the standing of Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas.

Won't play Week 9 Coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Hyde (hamstring) will not suit up in Buffalo on Sunday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Impact Hyde will miss a second consecutive game due to his hamstring strain, making his next chance to retake the field Nov. 15 versus the Rams. Carroll also said that Chris Carson (foot) won't be evaluated until Friday, but that Travis Homer (knee) is on track to play. In any case, DeeJay Dallas will begin the week as the only fully healthy running back in Seattle's murky backfield.

Even with injury absences, Seahawks find way to keep rolling

Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks will have some fondness for what happened in Week 8
NOVEMBER 3, 2020 • Associated Press
Status cloudy for Week 9 Coach Pete Carroll noted Monday that Hyde (hamstring) may not return Sunday in Buffalo, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. "It's hard to get that done in a couple w...
Impact Hyde was unable to practice last week and was listed as doubtful before not suiting up for this past Sunday's win against the 49ers. Following Carroll's comment, Hyde doesn't appear as if he's in a position to suit up this weekend either. Ultimately, Hyde's ability to practice (or lack thereof) in the coming days will forecast whether another DNP is in store. With uncertainty surrounding Chris Carson and his mid-foot sprain as well, DeeJay Dallas once again may lead the Seahawks backfield Sunday, especially if Travis Homer can't get past his knee injury.
