While Berrios has filled in admirably for Jamison Crowder (groin) in the slot over the first two games, piling up 12 catches for 124 yards, his role will diminish substantially if Crowder's able to return in Week 3 against the Broncos.

Berrios has the inside track on securing a roster spot due to his contributions as a return man on special teams and ability to fill in capably in the slot on offense, but a strong performance in the preseason finale against the Eagles would help put any doubt about his future with the Jets to bed prior to final cuts.
