Past illness, good for Sunday Green (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest in Atlanta, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Impact Green was a listed DNP on Wednesday's practice estimate due to an illness, but he returned as a limited participant Thursday and capped the week with a full session. He'll thus be available to a Cardinals offense that may be without DeAndre Hopkins this weekend after the latter missed Friday's practice with a knee injury. If Hopkins ends up inactive Sunday, Marquise Brown and Greg Dortch would be the top wide receivers for the team's Week 17 starting quarterback David Blough, but Green, Robbie Anderson and even Pharoh Cooper would be candidates for targets.

Officially limited Thursday Green (illness) was limited at Thursday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Impact One day removed from sitting out with an illness, Green mixed into some drills Thursday. He'll have one more session Friday to attempt to log all activity, at which point the Cardinals may give him a designation for Sunday's game in Atlanta.

Practicing Thursday Green (illness) returned to practice Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Impact After an illness kept him out of Wednesday's walkthrough, Green was back on the practice field in some capacity one day later. His activity level won't be known until the Cardinals post their second injury report of Week 17, but even if he begins to put himself on a path to play Sunday in Atlanta, his overall output (19-128-1 line on 40 targets in 13 games) and inconsistent snap share don't make him an appealing option for fantasy purposes.

Dealing with illness Green didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Impact In a season filled with sporadic usage, Green's most recent three games have yielded just one catch (on four targets) for seven yards, despite earning between 27 and 59 percent of the snaps on a weekly basis during that span. Quarterback play is partly to blame, as the Cards have had to roll with Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley the last two-plus games after Kyler Murray tore his ACL in Week 14. Still, Green's cumulative 19-128-1 receiving line on 40 targets in 13 appearances on the campaign doesn't inspire much confidence, even if he's able to get past his current ailment.

One catch in loss Green secured one of his two targets for seven yards in Monday's 27-13 loss to the Patriots.
Impact Green was not much of a factor Monday despite playing 59 percent of the Cardinals' offensive snaps. The veteran wideout played behind Marquise Brown and DeAndre Hopkins, but ahead of both Robbie Anderson and Greg Dortch. Green offers little upside on an offense with several mouths to feed, especially after losing Kyler Murray for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. Green should remain far of the fantasy radar when the Cardinals visit the Broncos in Week 15.

Another poor performance Green tallied one catch on two targets for five yards during Sunday's 25-24 defeat to the Chargers.
Impact Marquise Brown was back in the lineup after a five-game absence due to a foot injury, and Green's 53 percent snap share was behind both Brown (97 percent) and DeAndre Hopkins (74 percent) and only a tick ahead of little-used Robbie Anderson (42 percent). Brown and Hopkins were also the only Cardinals with more than four targets. That's been the norm for Green, who has managed five or more targets in only three of 10 games. With just an 18-121-1 line on the season, the 34-year-old remains an afterthought in Arizona's offense.

Sees season-high nine targets Green gathered in five of nine targets for 50 yards during Monday's 38-10 loss to the 49ers.
Impact Green's usage has been yanked around this season, but he experienced a season-high in targets on his second-biggest snap share (77 percent) in Week 11. Still, six of his nine targets came from reserve quarterback Trace McSorley once the game was out of hand in the fourth quarter, as he otherwise recorded two catches for 10 yards working with Monday's starter Colt McCoy. There's a chance for Green to remain in the rotation in the short term with Rondale Moore now dealing with a groin injury and Marquise Brown (foot) not yet activated from injured reserve. In the end, though, DeAndre Hopkins (12 targets) and Greg Dortch (10 targets) were the main beneficiaries in this contest, so Green is on the outside looking in within the Cardinals offense.

Finds end zone against Rams Green caught both his targets for 10 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Rams.
Impact With 36-year-old Colt McCoy getting the start for Arizona instead of Kyler Murray (hamstring), the 34-year-old Green was able to score his first TD since Week 6 of 2021 on a six-yard grab just before halftime. Green has seen only three targets over the last three games however, and his role in the Cardinals' offense isn't likely to increase in Week 11 against the 49ers, regardless of who's under center.

Musters one snap in Week 9 Green played one offensive snap during Sunday's 31-21 defeat to the Seahawks.
Impact Green's usage continues to waver wildly. Two weeks removed from being available and not getting on the field, he since logged 47 percent of the snaps on offense Week 8 at Minnesota but didn't catch his only target before Sunday's one-snap showing. With no catches on that one target since Week 6, Green seemingly has fallen out of favor in the Cardinals offense, especially after newcomer Robbie Anderson played 83 percent of the snaps Sunday en route to one reception on three targets.

Blanked in Week 8 Green didn't catch his only target during Sunday's 34-26 loss at Minnesota.
Impact After being active but earning no snaps Week 7, Green got back in the mix Sunday, ranking third among Cardinals wide receivers in offensive snaps (37 of 78) behind DeAndre Hopkins (78) and Rondale Moore (77), and ahead of Greg Dortch (20) and Robbie Anderson (seven). That said, in Green's six appearances this season, he's been blanked twice and topped out at 20 receiving yards in a given game. Considering Hopkins, Moore and No. 1 tight end Zach Ertz are the main options for quarterback Kyler Murray, a decent snap share for an Arizona skill-position player doesn't necessarily equate to production, making Green a fantasy nonentity for the time being.

Set to suit up Week 8 Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Green will be active and is set to play in Sunday's game in Minnesota, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact Green was previously active for the Cardinals' Week 7 win over the Saints, but he didn't see any snaps after he was excised from the receiver rotation while DeAndre Hopkins made his season debut after missing the first six games due to a suspension. Arizona still has a bit of a logjam at receiver, but Green looks like he could be a candidate to absorb some snaps from either Robbie Anderson or Greg Dortch, who served as depth options behind Hopkins and Rondale Moore in Week 7. Regardless, Green doesn't project to have a significant enough role to deliver a useful fantasy line against the Vikings.

Cardinals RB Eno Benjamin flashes, Jimmy Garoppolo falters: NFC West Stock Watch

Arizona may have found a new weapon in the backfield, while the Niners need more from Jimmy G. Who else is up and down in the division?

Cardinals RB Eno Benjamin flashes, Jimmy Garoppolo falters: NFC West Stock Watch
No snaps in Week 7 Green was active but didn't play in the Cardinals' Week 6 win versus the Saints.
Impact While Green did sit out Week 4 due to a left knee issue, he wasn't listed on Arizona's injury report in advance of either of the team's last two contests, so his health can't be blamed for the lack of snaps. Coach Kliff Kingsbury touched on Green's usage last Friday, telling Jose M. Romero of the Arizona Republic, "We're going to work through that with all these pieces. ... But we'll spend the next eight or nine days going through it and see what we come up with." Reps at wide receiver seemingly are up for grabs with Marquise Brown (foot) on injured reserve, but with DeAndre Hopkins back from suspension, the team trading for Robbie Anderson last week, and Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch also on hand, Green may find it difficult to eek out a regular role on offense, at least in the short term.

Records season-high 20 yards Green caught three of five targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Green returned to the lineup after missing one game due to a bone bruise in his left knee that he picked up during a Week 3 loss to the Rams. While he played a typical 72 percent of the offensive snaps, he made only minor marks in the box score, which actually matched his season high for receptions and set a new best in yards on the campaign. Such is Green's reality in an offense in which Marquise Brown (11 targets per game) and Zach Ertz (8.2) dominate the looks from Kyler Murray. Assuming Green avoids the injury report this week, he'll have a difficult time producing as long as Brown and Ertz are healthy.
