Impact Eason managed very little during his 15 minutes on the floor, continuing a frustrating start to the season. Seen as a potential breakout candidate, Eason was taken in the final rounds of most drafts on the back of solid performances in both the Summer League and the preseason. Unfortunately, his role has not eventuated as hoped, and at this stage, he should be viewed as more of a stash candidate for those who can afford an unproductive roster spot.

Impact While much of the attention has been focused on No. 3 overall pick Jabari Smith, Eason has quietly had a fantastic start in Las Vegas. Monday night marked his third consecutive double-double to go with excellent complementary stats. The LSU product will be a rookie worth monitoring on a Rockets team that will likely throw him into the regular rotation right away.
