LeBron James to produce and star in reality TV series set in Cleveland
LeBron James is keeping it real — as in reality television.
CNBC announced Thursday that James will co-produce and star in a show called "Cleveland Hustles," about trying to revitalize an economically struggling part of the city. James, along with his friend and business partner Maverick Carter, will connect four entrepreneurs with investors and mentors as they launch businesses in Cleveland.

The series will air on CNBC starting in the summer.
"The goal is to bring up a struggling neighborhood," Jim Ackerman, executive vice president of prime-time alternative for CNBC, said in a news conference (via Broadcasting & Cable). "I don’t think he’s going to retire from his other job."
James has been branching out into the entertainment world — playing himself in last summer’s movie "Trainwreck," producing ”Survivor’s Remorse” on Starz and signing a movie development deal with Warner Bros.
