Impact Gobert has been dealing with a sore right groin recently but has appeared in the last four games, averaging 13.0 points and 13.8 rebounds in 34.3 minutes per game. If he'd be unavailable Monday, Naz Reid would presumably see increased run for Minnesota.

Deonte Burton - Gets call to NBA Burton will sign a 10-day contract with the Kings on Monday, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Impact He'll be taking over the roster spot of guard/forward P.J. Dozier, who wasn't retained after his second 10-day deal expired following Saturday's loss to the Timberwolves. Burton, who last appeared at the NBA level with the Thunder in the 2019-20 season, will be available ahead of the Kings' next game Monday in Minnesota. Over 14 appearances (12 starts) with the G League's Stockton Kings this season, the 28-year-old forward has averaged 12.2 points (on 54.5 percent shooting from the field), 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.4 three-pointers, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks in 38.2 minutes.

D'Angelo Russell - Strong production continues Russell finished with 25 points (8-14 FG, 7-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Saturday's 117-110 win over the Kings.

Impact Russell continues to play his best basketball of the season, cobbling together another strong performance. He has now scored at least 19 points in six consecutive games, dishing up at least six assists in all six games. He has been a borderline top-35 player over the past month, bringing his season rank up to 53. Despite all the naysayers, it's been a relatively encouraging season for Russell, numerically his best season in quite some time.

Jaylen Nowell - Negligible role continues Nowell logged four points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), four rebounds and four assists across 18 minutes during Saturday's 117-110 victory over the Kings.

Impact Nowell was limited off the bench once again Saturday, scoring fewer than 10 points for the sixth time in his past seven games. After an encouraging start to the season, Nowell has been unable to carve out a significant role for himself, basically providing nothing more than an occasional scoring punch off the bench. While he will pop from time to time, he in not consistent enough to warrant any real attention outside of deeper formats.
