Impact Russell is expected to miss his third straight game Friday. With Russell on the shelf, the Lakers will likely rely on Austin Reaves to shoulder a heavy workload. Max Christie could also be more involved, and he fared well against Miami on Wednesday with 14 points, five rebounds and two three-pointers off the bench.

Rui Hachimura - Won't play Friday Hachimura (calf) will not play in Friday's game versus Memphis, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Impact Hachimura picked up a Grade 1 calf strain on Sunday versus the Pelicans, but the Lakers announced Wednesday that he is considered day-to-day. He will miss his second game in a row Friday, however, so Christian Wood could get another opportunity after scoring 13 points with eight rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes against the Heat on Wednesday.

LeBron James - Carrying another questionable tag James is questionable for Friday's game versus Memphis due to left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Impact James was battling an ankle injury towards the end of December, so this isn't a new issue for the veteran. He played 38 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Miami, but he was slowed by an illness. He finished with just 12 points on 6-of-18 shooting. The good news for the Lakers is that it appears the illness is behind him.

Anthony Davis - Listed as probable Davis (ankle) is probable for Friday's game against Memphis, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Impact This will be the third game in a row that Davis will carry a probable tag. He's been listed as questionable for the majority of the season, so this is a good sign. In his most recent outing against Miami on Wednesday, Davis had 29 points, 17 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and three steals.
