Making season debut
Clarke (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against Minnesota.
Impact
Clarke has been recovering from offseason knee surgery and has finally received clearance to make his season debut. With Zach Edey (ankle) sidelined for multiple weeks, Clarke has the opportunity to claim a significant role off the bench. Given the lengthy layoff, the Grizzlies could look to ease Clarke into action.

Ruled out for Wednesday
Morant (ankle) won't play Wednesday in Minnesota, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.
Impact
Morant will return to the sidelines Wednesday after tweaking his ankle during Monday's win over the Clippers, and for now, he should be considered questionable for Saturday's game versus the Wizards. Cam Spencer (personal) will be joining Morant on the inactive list Wednesday evening, so Vince Williams is likely looking at big minutes and a starting role.

Downgraded to doubtful
Morant (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.
Impact
After tweaking his ankle Monday against the Clippers, Morant was initially carrying a questionable tag. It's now looking like the Grizzlies will hold him out, however, but that's not a huge surprise given his durability concerns. With Morant likely to be sidelined, the Grizzlies will likely lean on Vince Williams, Jaylen Wells and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with Cam Spencer (personal) also out.

Upgraded to questionable
Clarke (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.
Impact
After spending nearly two months in recovery mode due to offseason right knee surgery, Clarke appears to be on the cusp of making his season debut. The Grizzlies figure to have heavy restrictions in place for the 2019 first-rounder once he's cleared to hit the court, though. With Zach Edey (ankle) on the shelf, Clarke does have the opportunity to seize a key role in the Memphis frontcourt when he's eventually back up to speed.

Ruled out for Wednesday
Spencer (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.
Impact
Spencer is set to miss his first game of the season due to personal reasons, and his next opportunity to suit up will come Saturday against the Wizards. With the sharpshooter sidelined, Vince Williams and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are likely to see increased playing time, while Jahmai Mashack and Olivier-Maxence Prosper are candidates to enter the rotation.

Iffy for Wednesday
Morant (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.
Impact
The star guard tweaked his ankle during the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Clippers, and his status remains uncertain for Wednesday. With Cam Spencer (personal) already ruled out, Vince Williams would likely serve as the de facto point guard in the event that Morant is also unable to play.

Scores eight off bench in win
Landale racked up eight points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Monday's 121-103 win over the Clippers.
Impact
While Landale will not be starting again with the absence of Zach Edey (ankle), he did start to see an increased role again, playing at least 20 minutes in his last three appearances. While Santi Aldama was the one elevated to the starting lineup, Landale should get to see plently of opportunities at center.

ROTOWIRE
Quiet outing in win
Aldama produced three points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 121-103 victory over the Clippers.
Impact
Despite starting again, Aldama had one of his worst performances of the season, which can primarily be attributed to the respective scoring explosions of Jaren Jackson (31) and Cam Spencer (27). After dropping 22 points in his last two appearances, Aldama cooled off but will look to bounce back Wednesday against the Timberwolves.

•
ROTOWIRE
Grabs seven boards in win
Caldwell-Pope closed Monday's 121-103 victory over the Clippers with four points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, six assists and two steals over 23 minutes.
Impact
While Caldwell-Pope did not take many shots Monday, he contributed in other ways, dishing out six assists, grabbing a season-high seven rebounds and tacking on two steals. Caldwell-Pope figures to retain a sizable role off the bench.
