Edwards offered limited production during his time on the court, and it's now likely that he's made his last appearance of the season for Dallas. He's now been active for 50 games at the NBA level this season, the maximum amount allotted to players on two-way contracts. However, the Mavericks could sign Edwards to a standard contract starting April 10, so there remains a possibility that he could suit up for the parent club again this year.

Impact Kessler moved into a starting role Friday and didn't disappoint, although fantasy managers probably would've expected better numbers in the rebounding department given that he was the starting center. Edwards should continue to have a sizable role in the frontcourt in the upcoming games, as the Mavs are depleted in terms of depth. They're currently missing P.J. Washington (ankle), Kai Jones (quadriceps), Dereck Lively (ankle), Daniel Gafford (knee), Anthony Davis (thigh) and Olivier-Maxence Prosper (wrist) due to injuries.
