INJURIES

Out of rotation in playoff opener Edwards (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the 76ers' 109-97 win over the Magic in the Play-In Tournament.
Impact Edwards had appeared in the 76ers' final five games of the regular season and averaged 5.0 points in 13.2 minutes, but he ended up being a casualty of head coach Nick Nurse tightening up his rotation for the start of the playoffs. Unless Philadelphia loses a key player to an injury during its first-round series with the Celtics, Edwards' appearances may be largely limited to garbage-time scenarios.
4 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Goes scoreless in loss Edwards had zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one steal in 10 minutes during Saturday's 116-93 loss to Detroit.
Impact Although Edwards was back in the rotation, he failed to score for the second time in his past two appearances. After a brief run of relevance, Edwards has shifted back to a depth role, with Philadelphia now largely healthy. Assuming the key players can stay on the floor, Edwards is unlikely to play a major role down the stretch.
APRIL 5 • ROTOWIRE
Drops out of rotation Edwards (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Friday in the 76ers' 115-103 win over the Timberwolves.
Impact After making seven straight starts and averaging 27.6 minutes per appearance from March 12 through March 23, Edwards had seen his playing time drop precipitously ever since. With the 76ers getting the likes of Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and Kelly Oubre back from extended absences at the end of last month, Edwards had averaged just 8.0 minutes over his four appearances since moving back to the bench before he dropped out of the rotation entirely Friday. Edwards could reclaim a role Saturday against the Pistons if George rests for the second leg of the 76ers' back-to-back set, but Edwards is likely to remain out of the rotation more often than not when Philadelphia is at full strength.
APRIL 4 • ROTOWIRE
Barely sees floor Monday Edwards accumulated no counting stats in one minute during Monday's 119-109 loss to the Heat.
Impact Edwards' role basically disappeared, logging just one minute in the loss. After playing a sizeable role for a one-week period earlier in the month, he can now be safely dropped across most fantasy leagues. As long as Philadelphia can remain healthy, Edwards is unlikely to play more than about 12 minutes on any given night.
MARCH 31 • ROTOWIRE
Not starting Wednesday Edwards is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bulls, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
Impact Paul George is back from suspension Wednesday, pushing Edwards to the bench. Wednesday breaks up a string of seven consecutive starts for Edwards, who should still see meaningful playing time in the absence of Kelly Oubre (elbow).

Justin Edwards makes massive leap 76ers can't derail once stars are healthy Philadelphia 76ers wing Justin Edwards is making a significant leap. Head coach Nick Nurse can't sabotage it once the stars are back.

Pours in career-high 32 in big win Edwards amassed 32 points (11-18 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Thursday's 139-118 win over the Kings.
Impact The 32 points and seven made three-pointers were both career highs for the second-year forward. Edwards has started five straight games for the injury-depleted Sixers, averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.4 steals and 2.4 threes over that stretch in 28.6 minutes while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from downtown.

Goes for 21 points Sunday Edwards racked up 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 25 minutes during Sunday's 109-103 win over the Trail Blazers.
Impact Edwards has started in the 76ers' last three games, scoring in double digits each time and surpassing the 15-point plateau in the last two. The former Kentucky standout is making the most of his minutes due to the absences the 76ers have on both ends of the court, but his role is one to monitor closely as the team gets healthier. Still, it's worth noting that Edwards has posted double-digit points in four of his last five appearances, averaging 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in that stretch.

Strong two-way performance Saturday Edwards logged 19 points (9-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks over 31 minutes during the 76ers' 104-97 win over the Nets on Saturday.
Impact Edwards was particularly effective in the third quarter with nine of his 19 points coming out of halftime, and he finished Saturday's game as the Sixers' second-leading scorer behind Quentin Grimes (28 points). Edwards also showed his defensive chops with a game-high three steals, and he has logged at least two steals in four of his last five outings. He has started in each of the 76ers' last two games and will continue to operate in an elevated role for as long as Kelly Oubre (elbow), Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Paul George are sidelined.
MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
Near double-double vs. Detroit Edwards logged 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and four steals over 29 minutes during the 76ers' 131-109 loss to the Pistons on Thursday.
Impact The 76ers are dealing with injuries to multiple starters including Kelly Oubre (elbow) and Tyrese Maxey (finger), which led to Edwards making his sixth start of the season Thursday. Edwards took advantage of the opportunity by setting a season high in steals and came one rebound shy from recording his first double-double of the 2025-26 campaign. Oubre is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks, so Edwards could remain a starter for as long as the former is sidelined.
MARCH 13 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Thursday Edwards will be in the starting lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Pistons, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.
Impact This will be Edwards' sixth start of the season and he'll be joined in the first unit by VJ Edgecombe, Trendon Watford, Quentin Grimes and Dominick Barlow. As a starter this season, Edwards has compiled averages of 7.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.
MARCH 12 • ROTOWIRE
Fares well off bench Edwards finished with 14 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 115-101 loss to the Cavaliers.
Impact With so many injuries in Philadelphia, Edwards was able to take advantage of an expanded role. The 76ers have four more games this week, putting Edwards firmly on the streaming radar.

Recalled to NBA on Saturday Philadelphia recalled Edwards from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday.
Impact Edwards is back with the parent team after a productive G League outing in which he recorded 32 points, five rebounds and five steals against the Grand Rapids Gold on Saturday. He has been a depth option for the 76ers this season but may have a chance to see minutes off the bench in the next few games.
MARCH 1 • ROTOWIRE
Assigned to G League The 76ers assigned Edwards to the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Friday, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.
Impact Edwards has totaled just 16 minutes over his last three games with Philadelphia, and it looks the recent signing of Cameron Payne has left him as the odd man out in the rotation. Edwards is likely to occupy a featured role with the Blue Coats for the time being, though.

76ers quickly made their stance on Justin Edwards abundantly clear Color everyone in Philly surprised.
FEBRUARY 23 • THESIXERSENSE.COM
Only six minutes in loss Edwards accumulated two points (1-2 FG) in six minutes during Saturday's 126-111 loss to the Pelicans.
Impact Edwards continues to play largely a muted role, logging fewer than eight minutes for the seventh time in the past 10 games. Three of those have been healthy DNP-CDs, an indication that his spot in the rotation is almost entirely reliant on the health of others. For now, he holds no real fantasy value.
FEBRUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Compiles 12 points from bench Edwards amassed 12 points (3-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three steals in 24 minutes during Monday's 135-118 loss to Portland.
Impact After limited work as an injury replacement last season, Edwards has popped for a few productive games with the parent club during his second year with the Sixers. He's bounced back and forth between the NBA and the G League this season, but he figures to stick with the parent club until the team gets Paul George (suspension) back.
