Impact Dowtin has been one of several players who has taken advantage of the opportunity of having an expanded role due to the injuries the 76ers have suffered throughout the season. Dowtin is going through his most productive stretch of the campaign, though, as he's scored in double digits in four of his last five appearances. He's averaging 9.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in six outings since the beginning of March.

Impact Dowtin joined the Blue Coats for the first time since Feb. 4, finishing as the club's second-leading scorer in an efficient performance. The two-way combo guard has received double-digit minutes in four consecutive contests for the parent club, during which he has averaged 7.8 points, 2.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds across 15.5 minutes per contest.

Impact Dowtin had a stellar showing off the bench Monday, scoring in double figures for just the third time this campaign. The 27-year-old has bounced back and forth from the G League throughout the season, but has appeared in the 76ers' first two March contests. Should the injuries to Tyrese Maxey (back) and Kyle Lowry (hip) persist, Dowtin could see more consistent playing time.

Impact The 76ers were very shorthanded Tuesday, and Dowtin certainly made the most of his minutes with a career-high 18 points. This performance will put him on the streaming radar the next time the 76ers are without several of their key contributors -- Paul George (ankle), Joel Embiid (foot), Tyrese Maxey (hand) and Caleb Martin (groin) were all held out Tuesday.

Impact Dowtin suited up for the fourth straight game, albeit for just four minutes. Having played at least 20 minutes in each of the two previous games, Dowtin had been serving as a consistent piece in the rotation. However, given he has played fewer than five minutes in each of the other four games in which he has suited up, it would seem as though the coaching staff are only going to call on him as a last resort.

The 26-year-old journeyman responded by leading the team in assists and tying for the team lead in steals while chipping in a little offense of his own. Lowry could be back in the lineup as soon as Friday against the Pelicans, but Dowtin's performance might have been good enough for him to hang onto a spot in the regular rotation in the short term.
