Impact Scrubb missed four consecutive games with turf toe and sought a second opinion, and that's presumably how the decision was made for him to undergo surgery. The second-year wing finishes the season averaging 2.7 points in 6.7 minutes across 18 appearances.

Impact According to Law Murray of The Athletic, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said Tuesday that Scrubb is seeking a second opinion on his sprained right big toe. Scrubb will already be missing his fourth straight game Thursday, and Lue's comments suggest the second-year wing is likely on track to miss additional time. The 21-year-old previously required surgery on his right foot during training camp of his rookie season, so it's somewhat concerning that he's dealing with an injury on the same foot yet again.
