Impact Jackson will miss at least the first month of the season while rehabbing from the procedure but is expected to make a full recovery. However, when healthy, his role remains unclear. As a rookie, the second-round pick carved out a substantial role for the injury-riddled Grizzlies. Over his final 18 regular-season appearances, Jackson averaged 20.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 34.1 minutes per game. With Ja Morant (shoulder), Marcus Smart (finger) and Desmond Bane (back) returning to full strength this offseason, Jackson will have a difficult time repeating those numbers in Year 2.

Impact The Grizzlies had a rough time with injuries in the 2023-24 season, and the team is not catching a break even in the offseason. Jackson suffered the injury while playing basketball outside of Dallas on Aug. 27 and following an unstable landing on his right foot. The timetable for recovery has not been provided, but it wouldn't be shocking if Jackson is not fully recovered for the start of the regular season in late October.

These two have been great in Las Vegas, but if the Grizzlies are healthy next season, it'll be tough for either of these guys to earn enough minutes to make an impact in most 12-team leagues.
