INJURIES

Absent from brief playoff run Jackson did not play in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Thunder.
Impact Jackson was ruled out for Game 1 due to personal reasons, but he was available off the bench for the final three games of the series. The 2023 second-rounder missed the first three months of the season while recovering from a procedure to repair a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot. Jackson saw some action in the G League but spent most of the regular season with Memphis, and across 29 games (three starts) he averaged 7.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 15.8 minutes per game, all of which were lower than his numbers in his rookie season.

Off injury report for Game 2 Jackson (personal) isn't listed on the Grizzlies' injury report for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Thunder.
Impact Jackson was away from the team for Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals due to personal reasons, though he's set to return Tuesday. However, the 20-year-old played just two minutes during Friday's Play-In Game win over Dallas and isn't guaranteed to receive playing time against Oklahoma City.

Out for personal reasons Jackson (personal) has been ruled out for Game 1 against the Thunder on Sunday.
Impact Jackson will be away from the team while attending to a personal matter, and his next chance to play will be Game 2 on Tuesday. Jackson averaged 15.8 minutes per game during the regular season, but he played only two minutes across the Grizzlies' two games in the Play-In Tournament, so his absence won't impact Memphis' rotation all that much.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Heading back to bench Jackson isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Play-In Game versus the Warriors, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Impact Jackson started in Memphis' regular-season finale due to most of Memphis' typical starters sitting out but will return to the bench Tuesday. Jackson has averaged 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 12.2 minutes across his previous 10 appearances coming off the bench.

Assigned to G League Memphis assigned Jackson to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Monday.
Impact Jackson has seen his role decline with the Grizzlies, but it's unclear how long he'll be with the Hustle -- their next G League game is March 19 against the Valley Suns. In Jackson's last five games with the Grizzlies, Jackson has averaged 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15.3 minutes.
MARCH 17 • ROTOWIRE
Back to bench Friday Jackson is not in the Grizzlies' starting lineup against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Impact Jackson has started in each of the Grizzlies' last two games and has averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals over 21.5 minutes over that span. He'll go back to a reserve role Friday due to the return of Jaren Jackson (ankle).
MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
Solid all-around performance Jackson amassed 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Monday's 120-118 win over the Suns.
Impact Jackson made an impact on both ends of the floor during Monday's win against the Suns. The 19-year-old made an impression in his first start of the season, scoring 14 or more points for the fifth time this season while snatching two more steals for the second time during the 2024-25 campaign.

Ruled out Friday Jackson (eye) is out for Friday's game against the Knicks.
Impact Jackson was a late addition to Friday's injury report due to left corneal inflammation, and the injury will prevent the second-year forward from suiting up in this game. Jackson is averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game this season. His next chance to play will come against the Spurs on Saturday in the second leg of a back-to-back set.
MARCH 1 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable to face New York Jackson is questionable for Friday's game against the Knicks due to left corneal inflammation.
Impact A decision on Jackson's availability will be made closer to Friday's 8 p.m. ET tipoff, although he shouldn't affect many fantasy decisions. The second-year forward has been limited to just 16 appearances this season, averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 rebounds across 16.3 minutes per contest.
FEBRUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Solid total from bench in loss Jackson ended with 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 128-114 loss to the Clippers.
Impact Jackson came in handy off the bench with Ja Morant taking a seat in the back-to-back. While Scotty Pippen and Luke Kennard have been Morant's direct replacements in recent weeks, the South Carolina product rotated in for some backcourt work as Desmond Bane's backup during the loss. Although Jackson pops for big numbers on occasion, he's not consistent enough to warrant serious fantasy consideration.
FEBRUARY 13 • ROTOWIRE
Plays just 13 minutes Jackson closed Tuesday's 119-112 win over the Suns with three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one assist across 13 minutes.
Impact Memphis has a very deep rotation right now, making it hard for a player like Jackson to churn out consistent fantasy value. He should be considered a boom-or-bust streamer in deeper formats with averages of 9.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 17.4 minutes across 11 regular-season outings.
FEBRUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Drops season-high 27 points Jackson amassed 27 points (11-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 128-109 win over San Antonio.
Impact Jackson eclipsed his previous season-high, scoring 27 points including four triples. Following a breakout 2023-24 season, Jackson has only recently returned from an injury that cost him basically the first three months of the season. While this was certainly an encouraging performance, the Grizzlies are decidedly deeper than they were last season. Jackson's path to minutes is therefore much more complicated than last season.
