Huge effort off bench Trent scored 21 points (7-12 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 0-0 FT), and added one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block in Sunday's 128-124 loss to the Celtics.

Impact Trent came off the bench in this one to play 34 minutes and did a little of everything, although his main contribution was his three-point prowess. All of his scoring came from beyond the arc, where he's made 41 percent of his shots this year. The 21-year-old has totaled 38 points in two games since the NBA resumed play.

Coach Terry Stotts has praised Trent's work on the defensive end since the team resumed practicing, which could go a long way to helping the second-year player secure minutes behind Anthony, who is a negative defender at this stage of his career. Along with Trent, Mario Hezonja and Nassir Little could be in the mix for more minutes at small forward the rest of the way.

Sitting out with foot injury Lillard will not play in Sunday's scrimmage against the Raptors due to a foot injury, The Oregonian reports.

Impact Little is known about the injury, but Lillard underwent an X-ray over the weekend, and the results were negative. Coach Terry Stotts revealed that Lillard is dealing with inflammation on the bottom of his foot, so the guard should be considered day-to-day as the first of Portland's eight seeding games approaches. Gary Trent Jr. will enter the starting lineup in Lillard's place for Sunday's scrimmage.
