Impact With De'Aaron Fox (knee) returning to the starting five, Mitchell will resume a bench role. As a reserve, he's averaged 7.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 18.2 minutes.

Blows up in huge performance Mitchell posted 23 points (9-11 FG, 5-6 3Pt), four rebounds and three steals over 31 minutes during Monday's 115-108 win over the Hornets.

Impact Mitchell had easily his best game of the season Monday, shouldering more responsibility after De'Aaron Fox was ruled out early due to a knee injury. If Fox misses additional time, Mitchell is certainly a player to consider adding on a short-term basis. He won't be this good but should be able to do enough to have backend 12-team value.

Impact Mitchell played just 12 minutes in the loss, continuing what has been an underwhelming start to the season. At this point, he is simply too far down the pecking order to have any chance at putting up meaningful production. His defensive abilities have been well documented but unfortunately, they don't translate into fantasy value.

Impact Mitchell also has a team option for the 2024-25 season and will be a restricted free agent after the 2025-26 season. It should come as no surprise that the Kings have picked up Mitchell's option as they still have another two years of team control. The second-year guard averaged 11.5 points, 4.2 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 27.7 minutes over 75 games as a rookie in 2021-22.
