Dereck Lively II - Remaining sidelined Wednesday Lively (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's preseason game against New Orleans, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
Impact Lively underwent right foot surgery in December and has progressed to some shooting and on-court work, but the big man isn't quite ready to return to game action. His next chance to suit up will come Friday against Atlanta, though there's been no indication of an imminent return, and Lively could ultimately miss time to begin the regular season.

Impact Aldama is still recovering from right knee surgery in March and has been limited during training camp. The forward's next chance to suit up will come Friday against Atlanta, though a formal timeline for his return to game action has yet to be established.

Max Christie - Effective off bench Christie recorded 14 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 132-115 preseason win over Houston.
Impact Christie delivered an efficient performance in a reserve role, shooting 57.1 percent from the field while connecting on both of his three-point makes. After starting Dallas' previous preseason matchup against Houston, Christie moved to the second unit for Sunday's contest, which also marked Kyrie Irving's return to action. The lineup change could signal a reserve role for Christie to begin the regular season, though his perimeter shooting should help him remain involved in the Mavericks' rotation.
