Impact Olynyk cleared the league's health and safety protocols Saturday, but he remained out for Sunday's contest against the Cavaliers due to conditioning concerns. The talented big man missed more than two months due to a knee injury and returned for just two games before landing in COVID-19 protocols. In 12 appearances this season, the veteran forward is averaging 12.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 22.6 minutes.

Jerami Grant - Appears set to play Tuesday Grant (conditioning) is not listed on the Pistons' injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.

Impact A thumb injury has sidelined Grant since Dec. 10, and while it looked like he may have been ready to make his return early last week, he ultimately landed in COVID-19 protocols following a stint in the G League. Having cleared protocols and regained his conditioning, all indications are that Grant will make his return Tuesday night after missing a string of 24 games. He'll likely be eased back into action, and it's possible he could be held out of one half of Detroit's upcoming back-to-back set Thursday (vs. MIN) and Friday (vs. BOS).
