Outside Pole at Texas Blaney was awarded the outside pole for Sunday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Impact It's row 1 Sunday for Blaney at the Fort Worth oval. That's great starting track position for the Penske Racing youngster. Blaney has been smoking hot on the intermediate ovals this season. He has four Top-5 and five Top-10 finishes on these style ovals since NASCAR resumed action in May. Blaney will be a Top-5 threat Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway.

Impact The Joe Gibbs Racing star saw a potential Top-10 finish go up in smoke mid-way into the 350-mile sequel and Pocono Raceway. Busch was racing tight with Ryan Blaney as they both navigated turn 2. Blaney would get into the right rear quarter panel of the No. 18 Toyota and Busch would go spinning out of control and slam hard into the inside wall. The damage was total and he climbed safely from his wrecked machine. It was Busch's second DNF of the season.
