LEGACY MOTOR CLUB announced that Herbst will join the organization as the driver of the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE for the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season in a multi-year deal. Herbst brings his longtime partner Monster Energy with him, who will serve as a primary partner throughout the season.
Legacy Motor Club and Nemechek will part ways at the end of this NASCAR season, sources briefed on the decision told The Athletic. Those sources were granted anonymity to speak about an evolving situation.
