The legendary Milwaukee Mile on the grounds of the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin is a one-mile oval that truly drives more like a road course because of the 9-degree banking in the turns, which produces some of the most exciting racing. Drivers can't go flat out on the course, which creates overtaking opportunities in the turns as well as the straights. The Mile opened in 1903 and little has changed to the configuration.

DRIVER NEWS

Alexander Rossi
Rossi's last oval victory in the NTT IndyCar Series came in August 2018 at Pocono Raceway. There's a strong chance that drought may end in 2026, based on the results of the second and final day of the Unser IndyCar Open Test at Phoenix Raceway on Wednesday. Rossi led both sessions on the 1-mile oval, including the fastest overall lap.
David Malukas
Malukas led the first day of the Unser IndyCar Open Test at Phoenix Raceway on Tuesday, his first official NTT IndyCar Series test session since joining Team Penske after the 2025 season. Malukas was fastest on the 1-mile desert oval with a lap of 172.605 mph in the No. 12 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet.
