Beginning 25th season Dixon is on the entry list for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg this week.
Impact Dixon will be starting his 25th season in America's top open-wheel racing series. The 44-year-old still loves the sport and is competing at the highest level. Dixon won two races last season to continue his streak of 20 straight IndyCar seasons with at least one victory. Dixon's six championships and 58 wins trails only A.J. Foyt in American Champ Car history with seven titles and 67 wins. His biggest competition in 2025 just might be his teammate in Alex Palou, who has won three of the last four championships. Dixon will begin in the season at St. Petersburg, a track he has never won in in 20 career starts in IndyCar. That being said, Dixon has finished on the podium seven times here.
