Big Mover in Abu Dhabi
Hamilton finished eighth in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday evening.
Impact

The Ferrari star would be an early mover, picking off three spots in the opening laps and moving into P13. Hamilton would be one of the early competitors to pit on lap 8 and that would set the tone for his two-stop strategy. A late overtake of a fading Oliver Bearman would give him P8 as he battled to run down Esteban Ocon all the way to the checkered flag. It was a good recovery performance after a poor qualifying effort.

10-Second Penalty
Hamilton finished eighth in the Mexico City Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon.
Impact
Hamilton showed great pace all weekend in Mexico and seemed poised for a podium run. However, he would run into some headwinds in that regard during the grand prix. A lap 1 battle with Max Verstappen would see the Ferrari star go off-course in turn 4 and gain a time advantage. The stewards would note the incident and later hit Hamilton with a 10-second time penalty that he would serve on his opening pit stop. That would drop Hamilton back to P14 as a result and he'd spend the rest of the day recapturing positions lost to finish a somewhat disappointing P8 in the Mexico City GP.
